By adopting the 2016 theme of the event that is celebrating its 30th anniversary, CASACOR Santa Catarina celebrates life and living. In 33 spaces, the Santa Catarina exhibition celebrates its new direction under the care of Luiz Bernardo and Francis Nessi Bernardo. The party atmosphere is present in all of the house's projects and especially in the living spaces. In three spaces of the exhibition, the appreciation of wines and drinks in the company of friends and family stands out.
Designed for more intimate occasions, Vinho e Prosa is perfect for a good wine and a chat. The project by Cris Passing and Giovane Marangoni has 42 m² that preserves the original structure of the house, especially the stones and the ceiling, resulting in a welcoming space. The place has three areas: the first, a lounge, for more intimate and comfortable wine tasting. In the middle, benches with tables to accommodate a larger number of people, and in the last, a large wine cellar, with a well-reserved area for two people and a large counter for a more formal wine tasting.
Tufi Mousse designed the Living Bar , inspired by the conversation rooms of small hotels and residences from the 1960s and 70s. Designing the space was a challenge for the architect, since the area is only 30 m² and 2.40 m wide. The project was executed starting from the slender sofa. On the sides, there are two cabinets that function as a bar and a glass cabinet.
The granite walls of the original building were maintained and the rest were covered with wallpaper with technology that allows them to breathe. All this to respect the building that has historical value. The glass cabinet was designed by the professional especially for the Living Bar and made of Corian, also serving as a side table. The bar counter, completely mirrored, was made of marble.
The property that will host CASACOR Santa Catarina 2016 , the “Casa Dr. Oswaldo Cabral”, has a large outdoor area that was explored by Karoline Bernardo and Sidnei Machado to create the restaurant for the show, the Resto Bar . The 160 m² of the space features “window dressing”, one of the trends in restaurant architecture, where people can observe the outside world while they eat. Because it is for collective use, the public is no longer mere spectators and has the chance to take ownership of the space, giving it life and use.
The interior of the space interacts with the street through large glass doors, through which it is possible to see the care taken by the duo in choosing the materials. For the façade, they chose coverings that are similar to natural materials, such as stone, and similar to those already present in the old building. The interior is dominated by wood and ceramic coverings. Natural ventilation is an important point of the project and the pleasant atmosphere is completed by the lighting provided by pendants, recessed lights and LED strips. Also noteworthy is the small vertical herb garden, an idea that can be replicated at home.
