CASACOR Santa Catarina Florianópolis 2018: Casa Grigio by Cris Passing and Giovane Marangoni. The sustainable construction system, in Wood Frame, allows for record execution times and even relocation to another location. A space to make history and create moments. (Mariana Boro)
It is difficult to determine what is inside and what is outside in Casa Grigio , Cris Passing's space for CASACOR Santa Catarina 2018. More than 90% of the external walls are glass, allowing a true experience of integration with the surrounding nature. Using Using the Canadian wood frame construction technique, it was possible to build the entire residence in just 40 days and with very little waste. All the wood used is from reforestation, and one of the criteria for choosing the furniture was the presence of sustainability certification.

The most daring part of the space, however, is the bathroom: the only walls facing the interior of the house are those that provide privacy to the toilet. The showers are integrated and open, as is the ceiling, made of glass and covered with branches and foliage. . Bathing there is almost like taking a shower in the rain. “It couldn’t be more natural!” jokes the professional.
