CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul has reserved two spaces among its
49 environments to dedicate especially to children: the
Baby Studio , designed by the
MODI Arquitetura office, and the
Skilo Kids Space playroom, designed by architect and urban planner
Juliana Zanchi de Moura .

The Studio caters to a newborn and is equipped for their basic needs, but its functional layout can also be adapted for a grown-up child. Spaces such as the bench and the mezzanine were designed for the child's enjoyment, so that the bedroom becomes a stimulating environment for their discoveries.
The
16 m² led by architects Fernanda Fontoura and Taís Fagundes still contains two references to 1920s design, in the sophisticated Vegas crib and the suspended Art Deco armchair, in galvanized steel. In addition to the Atelier, children can also have fun in the
Skilo Kids Space , designed to entertain them while their parents explore the exhibition. There are 75
m² of different leisure options, such as the Toft tree house and the A-maze maze, as well as three reinterpretations of the traditional dollhouse.
The space also introduces children to natural materials, such as
wood and bamboo, even though its theme is focused on an urban context. These materials, in addition to being natural, are biodegradable. The bamboo balance bikes are by artisan Thiago Alves Rampel, as are the planters. The carpentry is particularly noteworthy, made of naval plywood, with matte lacquer details.
