Tatiana Lopes e Tatiana Pessoa Mendes – Sala Íntima do Hóspede.

Greens, earthy tones, pinks, blues. Vibrant or dull. Golds. Blacks and whites. There are many shades of this CASACOR Rio , but they were all determined by the color palette of the main house – a city palace that occupies about 2,500 m² on the enormous land. 12,000 m² surrounded by the green of the Atlantic Forest. With so many sources of inspiration, the cast – made up of 57 professionals including architects, interior designers and landscapers – let their imagination run wild. More than 1,700 liters of Coral paint were used in the 38 environments and about 60 different colors. "It's a color palette that stands out. And the architects worked with several nuances within this palette. So, the public will see a very colorful CASACOR in which even white, and its many shades, appear," says Patricia Quentel, managing partner. of the show.

Natural tones

Earthy tones, greens and beiges are among the most used . As well as textures of natural stones, clay, bricks and wood. In Jardim do Café , by Ricardo Portilho, the natural colors of the bamboo groves seem to jump onto the bench created by Estúdio Design Noel Marinho, with tiles designed by the master of modernism.

UP3 Arquitetura – Casa UP. In Casa UP for Metalmarco, designed to integrate with the surrounding garden , natural tones are everywhere: from the green of the cozy sofa to the terracotta of the bed linen.

Roses

The color of the main house's façade appears in different shades throughout the rooms. The original – Terra de Fogo, by Tintas Coral – can be seen up close in several spaces such as the Balcony of the Couple , decorated by landscaper Anna Luiza Rothier; the Tea Bar , by Roberta Nicolau; or the Casa Bistro , by Mauricio Nóbrega.

The ceramic pine cones that are everywhere in the house's gardens and balconies inspired architects Lucilla Pessoa de Queiroz and Renata Caiafa Quintanilha, who opted for blue in their Café . The tone appears in all the fun furniture designed by the duo exclusively for the Café. environment and also in the ceramics used by Denise Stewart in an installation inside the space.

And there is also blue in the Lavabo and Galeria , by Estúdio Manu+Ca, which used the same tone of the original tiles to paint half of the space's wall, bringing contemporary style to the environment.

Whites

Yes, we do have white. The color was chosen by the duo Ângela Leite Barbosa and Daniel Marques Mendes for the doorways of their Guest Suite and gave an even more special highlight to the already beautiful original tiles in the bathroom.

Paola Ribeiro also opted for this tone in her master bedroom . It is present in some of the furniture, bed linen fabrics and curtains , and especially in the original elements of the house's architecture, such as portals, doors and shelves. However, it is not present in any of the rooms. as important as in the Small Study Room , by Lia, Felipe and Betina Siqueira. There, the tone works both as a reflector of the natural light that enters through the space's windows, and to bring freshness, tranquility and simplicity to the environment, with high ceilings very tall and imposing .

Reds

The color, which appears in the house's stained glass windows , can also be seen throughout the rooms. One example is the iron door, full of details inspired by the palace's architecture , created by architect Vivian Reimers for her bookstore . The space, built in the middle of the garden, opens onto the greenery creating an atmosphere that promises to enchant reading lovers.

But there are also points of red in the benches created by Ivan Rezende in his Pátio da Escultura ; on the walls of Tiago Freire's Empório Cooking 2 Go ; and in the neon used by Caco Borges and Carolina Haubrich, in Home Office & Games .

Grays and neutrals

A separate chapter in this house are the doors. There are 48 in the main house, which open onto the gardens and connect the spacious interior rooms. Almost always in shades of gray and pink , they inspired the cast in different ways.
In the Entrance Hall , Rodrigo Jorge decided to create a very classic ambiance in homage to the history of the house, which is clear in the choice of colors for the space: graphite, almost black, on the walls ; and gold, on the ceiling. Luiz Fernando Grabowsky opted for for more neutral tones in its Piano Room . On the walls, white. On the ceiling, gray and white stripes . And, in the living room, a mix of national design furniture from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.

Greens

But no shade stands out as much as green . The 12 thousand square meters of gardens with species from the Atlantic Forest were, without a doubt, a great inspiration for the professionals who brought color into the environments. Whether with plants , furniture or walls, green is everywhere .

Highlights include the Winter Garden , by Jean de Just, which literally brings the garden into the house ; and the Deca Bathroom , by Beto Figueiredo and Luiz Eduardo Almeida, who used a very dark tone to further highlight the bathtub. of original marble from the space, which, they say, belonged to Empress Teresa Cristina.
