03/46 -

Cássio Moraes - Art Gallery. The steel frame construction quickly, cleanly and sustainably filled the empty lot. Cement panels covered the ceiling and walls, with neutral colors that create a space for reading and meetings for the collector. In this purposefully discreet setting, the focus is diverted to what really matters in the gallery: the works of art. In this case, pieces by Arter Atelier and furniture by Sergio Rodrigues, Jader Almeida and Pedro Useche. The series of photo-art and paintings are by Ana Isméria and Maysa Pettes.

C4 Arquitetos - Living Perene. The idea is the opposite: the living room is what complements the gourmet area, assuming a multipurpose character. The selection of Brazilian design draws attention and pays homage to the original architecture of the house - in fact, some original pillars were preserved with glass coverings that transform them into works of art. Speaking of which, engravings and paintings by Bahian photographer Kiolo occupy the walls.

Thiago Manarelli and Ana Paula Guimarães - Casa Burgundy. The inspiration came from Cabana, a project by the duo for CASACOR São Paulo 2018. In this reinterpretation, the building leaves aside its Scandinavian influence and takes on the feel of a Brazilian house, as suggested by the gabled roof. (Felipe Araújo)
The 41 spaces that bring CASACOR Ribeirão Preto to life express memories of the past, are in synergy with the present and look to the future. The focus is on how to fully experience these spaces. That is why times and values intersect in interesting ways, from the perspective of the more than 60 professionals participating in the exhibition. It is now in its second edition, on display from August 7 to September 22. Affection, technology and sustainability are the three essential pillars of the Planet Home theme incorporated into the concept of each project at CASACOR Ribeirão Preto . Particularly noteworthy is the conscious choice of materials and their efficient use. Much more than reuse, waste, leftovers and entire structures are transformed in a creative way and take on new importance with new functions.

A look at the details

The relationship with nature is profound and, at the same time, established with softness. Mashrabiyas, brises, glass panels, skylights, cutouts and other resources open up the spaces to receive light and let the landscape enter the spaces. And they are also diverse: some with measurements starting at 4 m², others with multipurpose vocation, in addition to incredible lofts. Perhaps the main focus of this edition is on wood, a common feature in ceiling and wall coverings. With a variety of finishes, the material makes everything more welcoming and durable, making it perfect for creating refuges. The contemporary use of light marble is also highlighted, as is the return of vertical gardens. In this sense, everything converges towards a more sensorial and organic coexistence with nature. Brazilian original design, works by national artists and antique pieces are attractions in their own right, demonstrating that spaces with identity and soul are born from careful choices.

Place for everyone

It is also worth highlighting the various references used by architects, decorators, landscapers and interior designers. There is room for everyone. The narratives bring the personalities of young influencers and celebrities, the daily lives of couples, families, children and adults, as well as the female universe and even a space dedicated to pets.
