Local art, craftsmanship, emotional memories and references to the territory are among the elements that inspire the projects of CASACOR Piauí 2026, which runs until December 21. In common, the projects share an interest in narratives connected to the experiences that help shape Brazilian culture.
More than presenting decorative solutions, the spaces explore cultural references that cross generations and remain present in the way of inhabiting. Below, we list some of the projects that highlight this relationship!
The Jóya Boutique Hotel was conceived as an experience connected to the cultural identity of Piauí. The project starts from the welcoming essence characteristic of the region and builds a narrative in which sensitivity, identity and purpose meet.

The walls function as galleries dedicated to local artistic production, gathering works by Piauí artists selected to represent shapes, colors and textures of the territory. The project also values manual work and establishes a dialogue with the light, climate and materials of the region.
Inspired by the trajectory of a northeasterner born in the countryside of Piauí who built his life in Teresina, the Raízes da Alma Office explores references connected to emotional memory and origins.

Sensory elements evoke the sertão and bring up experiences associated with regional daily life, such as freshly brewed coffee, food cooked over fire and good conversations. The project also incorporates references to popular festivities, religiosity and community life, aspects deeply present in Brazilian culture.
The Fragmentos da Memória Powder Room starts from a reference present in different regions of the country: the traditional caquinhos floor. Used as a central element of the project, it represents reuse practices and construction solutions that have marked Brazilian architecture.

Regional materials and earthy tones strengthen the connection with Piauí, while the textures and cobogós create an atmosphere that values memory, belonging and the relationship between tradition and contemporaneity.
Varanda de Memórias is born from a personal story. The project was inspired by the professional's memories of her grandmother's house, the property that today houses CASACOR Piauí 2026.

The project transforms recollections into spatial elements and highlights the importance of domestic memoryin the construction of cultural identity. The proposal values experiences linked to family togetherness and to a slower pace of time.
The Wine Room uses art and music as the main expressions of Brazilian culture. The project brings together natural materials, welcoming lighting and a curation that stimulates experiences linked to contemplation and gathering.

The cultural highlight is the presence of the work by Nonato Oliveira, an artist recognized for his connection with woodcut, in addition to the selection of vinyl records and the turntable that reinforce the importance of music as an element of identity.
The Caminhos Dining Room was inspired by the cities of Oeiras and Picos, the hometowns of the architects responsible for the project. The project uses references linked to the interior of Piauí to build a narrative about identity and belonging.

Earthy tones, different textures and local plant species reinforce the connection with the territory. At the same time, the space proposes a contemporary reading of these references, showing how traditions and memories can be reinterpreted in current architecture.
Casa Auí features Piauí art and local craftsmanship as its protagonists. The project brings together works by regional artists and handmade pieces, highlighting the importance of artisanal craftsmanship in the construction of Brazilian cultural identity.

Natural materials, organic textures and handmade elements reinforce this appreciation of local knowledge. By integrating art, design and togetherness, the project highlights how culture can be incorporated into everyday life through objects.
Soccer, one of the most present cultural manifestations in Brazilian culture, is the starting point for the Ousadia e Alegria Suite. The project uses elements linked to the sport to build a narrative about growth, dreams and belonging.

In the project, the experiences lived inside and outside the matches gain architectural translations. The proposal transforms the bedroom into a space that dialogues with childhood and with a passion shared by millions of Brazilians.
