Arena CASACOR - Alexandre Carvalho and Jéssica Martins. The São Paulo architect duo debuts with this 470 m² space, with a 20 m² entrance, 290 m² of arena for lectures and 160 m² of garden, designed to facilitate the flow of people and connections between them. Lina Bo Bardi's Glass House was an important source of inspiration, with large openings that bring in greenery and views of the city. The modern furniture is composed of Brazilian pieces, including the orange MP-97 armchair and the black and white MP-61, by Percifal Lafer.

24 - COFFEE AND ART - JOSE ELIAS MUSSI, LUCIANA MUSSI

Coffee & Art - José Elias Mussi and Luciana Mara Mussi. The imposing coffee shops from the beginning of the 20th century, with an excellent eye for detail, were the starting point. The plaster ceiling with moldings already existed and began to interact with modern elements and techniques, straight lines and vertical gardens that connect with nature. Local stones cover the counter, while metallized MDF slats create dynamism in the service area. Stone boiseries are superimposed on the wall, framing and creating a backdrop for the cafe tables.

22 - EYEWEAR STORE - GIL GOMES, IGOR GONCALVES

Glasses Store - Igor Gonçalves and Gil Nunes. With a neutral base, without giving up personality, it focuses on the glasses as the center of attention. The mix of natural textures, such as stones and wood, meets design furniture and works of art in these 30 m², which also showcase a tailored lighting design. Almost all light is indirect, to highlight what really needs to be illuminated and create a pleasant atmosphere.

Jewelry - Fernando Pandolfi. More than a store, the 35 m² space was designed to be an art gallery. It is like a suspended cube that, released in space, does not touch the walls. The plants bring nature and fill the void between the cube and the environment, fully mirrored to reflect the natural beauty of the jewelry. The burnt cement vinyl floor neutralizes the composition, and the works of art by Patrícia Palmeira with gold leaf details refer to the jewelry on display.

20 - CRAFT GALLERY - ANA FORATTINI, JACQUELINE BARROS

Handicraft Gallery - Jacque Barros, Ana Forattini, Manu Lobato and Luíza Schwan. The influence of painter, sculptor, visual artist and performer Hélio Oiticica is the hallmark of this 60 m² space. The unique features here are the thin furniture made from reforested wood, new construction technologies and the use of colors. They create a dynamic between the colors of the walls and the pieces for sale. The production is by artisans from Espírito Santo, with the help of Sebrae - ES.

Store Hall - Kamila Torres. The 4.74 m² space connects the residential areas and the stores in the exhibition. Therefore, it aims to be delicate and welcoming, involving people who pass by. The laminate flooring with a concrete appearance was quickly installed, after the pieces were fitted together.

19 - INSPIRE LOUNGE - ISABELA RIBEIRO, JULIANA MONTEIRO, VIVIANE MORENO

Inspirar Lounge - Isabella Marotti, Juliana Monteiro and Viviane Moreno. The universe of essences and textures is evoked in these 38 m², giving the commercial space a homey feel. The warm color palette dominates the Lounge, as do the organic lines. These are expressed mainly in the wavy ceiling, with a series of carpentry slats. On the floor and walls, the porcelain tile hand-cut into natural shapes stands out, along with the carpentry. The state's ornamental rocks also receive a mention, in the use of regional marble.

Baby Suite - Lorena Nunes. First-time mothers are the inspiration, preferring furniture that accompanies the child's development. That's why this 20 m² project features solutions designed to last. The furniture is adaptable, like the crib that transforms into a mini bed and the carpentry that can take on new functions in the future. The maxi wallpaper has an exclusive print and already brings an ecological awareness, which should be cultivated from an early age.

13 - NATUZZI ITALIAN LIVING - CINTIA CHIEPPE, MARCIA PAOLIELO

Living Natuzzi - Cintia Chieppe and Marcia Paoliello. The 100 m² space features Italian designer furniture from the brand that gives the space its name, emphasizing comfort and quality. The décor prioritizes natural-looking materials, such as imbuia MDF laminate, ceramic bricks, mashrabiyas and elements in earthy tones. At the same time, modernity is associated with porcelain tiles and some furniture. The result is a cosmopolitan and elegant atmosphere, with hints of Brazilianness.

14 - KITCHEN - RHAMIRES RECLA, THAINA CASTRO

Kitchen - Thainá Castro and Rhamires Recla. The references are Italian in these 25 m², which house colors and objects that refer to cuisine and the classic fashion colors of the European country, such as black and gold. Marble appears on the floor and kitchen countertop. The clean and modern joinery ensures the perfect balance of the mix of inspirations. Highlight for the winery with more than 50 labels, with a tensioned canvas that illuminates it.

Brazilian Family Room - Renata Tristão. The reference in homes is present from the family-sized sofa by Natuzzi, measuring 3.5 meters and fully automated, to the harmonious choice of materials. Among them, the slatted wooden wall in the tone of walnut and the wall painted with a velvety effect in the tone of Paçoca Doce, by Coral.

26 - BANESTES LOUNGE - SERGIO PAULA RABELLO

Lounge Banestes - Sergio Paulo Rabello. There are several technological experiments offered in this 42 m² space, such as cell phone charging via magnetic induction on the central bench. The navy and wood tones refer to the visual identity of the bank that gives the space its name, while the landscaping humanizes and reinforces the notion of sustainability.

Studio Praiano - Vitor Cipriano and Claudete Lovati. The beautiful landscape inspired the choice of wood, rough stone and plenty of natural light in the 130 m² integrated space. A wooden trellis frames the entire living room, and the native Pandanos tree encompasses the dining room. The dining table, in fact, is a special highlight: made with a four-meter-long trunk of demolished wood, fossilized with resin, by artisan Rusimar Brumol. Also note the continuity between the bed and the office desk in the same piece of furniture.

08 - COSMOPOLITAN ESCAPE - ITALY MONTI, SOLANA MARIANELLI

Cosmopolitan Escape - Italla Monti and Solana Marianelli. From sensorial to high-tech, several concepts come together in a living room that is ideal for relaxing and gathering people. The cosmopolitan tone comes from the contrast between materials, such as wood, burnt cement, stones and metallic finishes. The furniture selection is meticulous and includes the Hug sofa by Solana Marianelli and the Mush glass coffee tables by Jader Almeida. The artworks are curated by Lara Brotas, from Galeria Matias Brotas, and feature works by Antonio Bokel, Yuri Seródio and Rosana Paste.

Studio 20 - Letícia Finamore. Less formal excess and more essence in the experience, with a beachy feel. Here, the home is understood as a place for relationships with those we love and with nature. The 144 m² project follows straight lines and clean lines, incorporating textures such as burnt cement and stone, applied to the carpentry itself. In the living room, the matte lacquer on the panel complements and adds lightness. In the furniture and lighting, there are several new releases by Jader Almeida.

Sunset Lounge - Cyane Zoboli. The architecture integrates with the landscape and expands the scope of vision, without losing the comfort of being at home. The 130 m² space frames the view of Vitória Bay and uses natural resources, such as wood and glass, which give simplicity to the structure. The designed ambiance did not come by chance, highlighting the use of rock materials, such as granite and slate, and wood for the deck and furniture.

09 - TREE STUDIO PLATES FROM BRAZIL - MAX MELLO

Estúdio da Árvore Placas do Brasil - Max Mello. In these 120 m², a coworking space was created with a meeting table, workstations, casual seating, small kitchen and a balcony that opens onto the sea of Ilha do Boi. Large openings and a glass roof ensure a visual connection with nature. The beautiful chestnut tree has not only been maintained but provides shade and functions as an important axis, with a sofa at its feet.

Studio/Gallery - Rodrigo Dutra and Marina Brochieri. Visual artist Rodrigo Dutra carried out the project in partnership with interior designer Marina Brochieri, producing exclusive works that combine techniques and forms, valuing the culture of Espírito Santo. The ambiance follows the same line and adds materials such as leather, wood, stone and other elements, in a link with national and international trends.

10 - CORNER OF THE SELF - JULIANA VERVLOET, ROBERTA TOLEDO, CLAUDETE LOVATI COLODETTI

Re.Canto (Do Eu) - Juliana Vervloet do Amaral, Roberta Toledo and Maria Tereza do Amaral Nader. Spacious, with 120 m², the space is an uncovered hideaway. The generous panel-shelf, in MDF with reforested wood, integrates niches for books and a wine cellar. Among the furniture, some highlights are the Ameba tables, by Arthur Casas, and the original leather armchair by Lafer. The selection of works brings together creations by Raphael Bianco, José Bechara, Matias Mesquita, Adriana Eu, Thainan Castro, Fernando Augusto and Dionísio del Santo.

01 - PROCON RECEPTIVE LOUNGE - CARLOS EDUARDO GAMA, JULIANA MATTOS, TASSIA HOFMAN

Procon Reception Lounge - Carlos Eduardo Calmon, Juliana Mattos Guarize and Tassia Hoffmann. The space adds a new architectural element to the Italian-Brazilian Club. With 40 m², it will be the future reception and administrative space. Marble stands out in the mix of finishes, along with corten steel, which is equally durable and resistant. The vertical garden guarantees freshness and a feeling of welcome.

Urban House - Sergio Paulo Rabello. The 110 m² house has a living room, bedroom, bathroom and hall. Everything was built with beams, pillars and metal alloy tiles reused from a steel mill. Large slabs of translucent marble serve as cladding and illuminate the walls. A crane helped with the task of arranging the material, sheet by sheet, in the property. All the wood used in the ceiling lining and carpentry is also reused, while the glass is 100% recyclable.

Walkway - Carlos Eduardo Calmon, Juliana Mattos Guarize and Tassia Hoffmann. The structure connects the reception area to the events area in an accessible way, but also provides a collective space for social integration. At the same time, it favors the privileged view of Vitória Bay. The glass railing is lightweight and affirms integration with nature.

Master Suite - Isabele Melo. A space composed of soft colors, light and linear shapes that enhance every inch of this 25 m² space. The upholstered headboard with lighting provides even more comfort, while the suspended niche creates a versatile support for organizing books and objects. Some of the paintings are by the artist Romilda Patêz, painted with mineral pigments extracted from nature.

05 - DECA GOURMET KITCHEN - SERGIO PAULO RABELLO

Deca Kitchen - Sergio Paulo Rabello. Attached to the Casa Urbana is the show's functional gourmet kitchen. The space mixes the grandeur of steel with the delicate beauty of translucent quartzite, in large plates on the walls. In fact, the structure that forms the walls, floor and roof uses steel beams and pillars from a local company, which produces the raw material in a completely sustainable way. Modulated, the space can be transported anywhere.

Drink Bar - Márcia Abreu. The color blush and various shades of pink predominate, from the floor to the furniture. The inspiration came from the iconic Sketch Bar and Restaurant, in London. Like the London space, this space is democratic and conceptual, also featuring open and inviting colors such as green. The f53 kitchen, by Florense, also steals the show. It was designed by Uruguayans Sebastian Rial and Federico Senociain, and made of solid oak wood.

Casa da Ilha - Sérgio Palmeira. The bedroom, living room, gourmet area and bathroom share the 300 m², with a glass enclosure that also reveals the outdoor area and a 180° view of the landscape from Convento da Penha to Camburi Beach. The project has a contemporary feel, and the predominant tone is dark, in contrast to the brightness of the place. Thus, the gray tone of the MDF is used in the lining of the walls and ceilings. Italian furniture reaffirms the luxurious vocation of the space, together with design pieces by Jader Almeida and Ronald Sasson.

Semi-Jewelry Store - Renata Tristão and Karla Giaretta. The 36 m² space visually appears larger, with lightness, transparency and straight lines that frame the products. Note how two references were alternated on each side, in the flooring, colors and types of MDF. An interactive campaign elevates the store to the status of a gallery of very special photos, which generate empathy and harmony between customers and the products offered.

28 - ITALIAN RESTAURANT - DANIELA AVANCINI

Italian Restaurant - Daniela Avancini. The palette features sober colors and the furniture is reminiscent of a home and a high-end wine cellar. The generous space has been divided into smaller areas, avoiding the traditional repetition of tables and chairs. It also has the capacity to comfortably accommodate up to eight guests for courses and wine tastings. Among the trends highlighted are the use of dark wood, rosé and gold.

21 - FUNCTIONAL WASHROOMS - ALINE ALMEIDA, ALINE MARQUES, ALINE LAUREANO

Functional Lavatories - Aline Ane, Aline Fialho and Aline Rita Laureano. The space is 28.50 m² and has an inclusive dimension, catering to everyone from babies to the elderly. Nature is expressed in the use of vegetation and the reclaimed wood of the countertop, with a resin finish, raising awareness of the need to preserve the planet. LED lamps and pieces that reduce water consumption also promote sustainable thinking.

The 31-room circuit that makes up CASACOR Espírito Santo 2019 presents the new face of Espírito Santo architecture and decoration in an inspiring natural setting. The 45 professionals took advantage of large openings and lots of glass to expand the view towards the sea of Ilha do Boi. The beachy atmosphere, not by chance, is one of the common points between the spaces. The chosen venue is the Italian-Brazilian Club, in the Ilha do Boi neighborhood of Vitória. For this reason, the essence of Italy, a world reference in design, culture and cuisine, is also mentioned several times. The privileged location, facing the sea, also helped to connect the projects to CASACOR 's central theme this year: Planet Home , based on the trend of turning each home into a private universe.

Tranquility on the coast

Overall, the exhibition has a contemporary feel without excesses. Often, the environments have darker and more welcoming tones, in contrast to the natural light of the place. The local DNA is evident in the works of art, in raw materials such as marble, steel produced in the state, ceramics, stones, bricks and the irresistible straw. Wood appears imposing and sculptural in tall shelves, entire walls or in the slats that lend movement to ceilings and panels. Various materials are the result of reuse and innovative construction processes highlight sustainability. The idea is to invite the public to reflect on the commitment to the present and future of the planet.
