Loft - Gabriela Franco and Laura Otero. Under arches and vaults, the spaces embrace and gain different shades of ochre, from pigments obtained from materials from the site itself. Raw walls are intentional, both for the visual aspect and to avoid wasting finishing touches. The spaces are delimited by uneven levels, and each one has different colors and materials. The furniture is from the first line designed by the duo.

Multi-level spaces are connected and interconnected with nature. This could be a description of a modern home, but we are talking about the 1980s mansion chosen to house CASACOR Bolivia 2019. The eclectic style property, surrounded by a beautiful garden, is in perfect harmony with CASACOR 's theme this year: Planet Home . Each of the 33 projects, in its own way, understands the home as an individual's private universe and a starting point for connecting with others and the world.
The 3,500 m² mansion was one of the first in the city, designed by architect Fernando Moreno for the Córdoba family. It took advantage of the economic boom in the Equipetrol neighborhood, named after a company dedicated to oil production. In a rustic-Mediterranean style, with white walls and many textures, its construction processes still reveal the limitations of the time. The materials were slow to arrive, so – fortunately – excellent local resources were used, such as tajibo wood for the beams and cedar for the carpentry. Details and stories were duly valued by the 56 professionals at CASACOR Bolivia , who combined memories with trends and solutions for contemporary life. In 2019, CASACOR Bolivia will take place between April 24th and May 25th, at Equipetrol calle 9 Oeste Nº 15.
