Bruna Oliveira - Living with Garden - Coziness. The project reflects the property's internal and external areas. The nuances of colors and textures ensure an air of modernity and refinement in the space, which features furniture with organic curves and colors that bring lightness and coziness. The natural-colored side panels that extend to the ceiling and the bookshelf go beyond the common imagination, and allow for different images from each angle. The garden's landscaping is light, with a lit path that leads to an “Instagrammable” swing.

It is difficult to look at CASACOR Bahia and not notice a trend that runs through the exhibition: in one way or another, green reappears in the environments and consolidates itself as the favorite color of the architects and decorators responsible for the spaces in the 2022 edition.

And that doesn’t mean the show is repetitive, on the contrary. The CASACOR Bahia cast professionals invested in creative ways of inserting color into the decor : whether by painting walls and panels, furniture or natural vegetation, which frames different compositions. One thing is certain: Check out the green environments at CASACOR Bahia in the gallery below!

Stephanie Mattos + Vinicius Rosaneli and Beatriz Edington - GH Mumm Balcony. The rope furniture from Pátio Brasil, provided by Baú +, combined with the landscaping by Maria Vitória Oldemburg, give the project an Eco Garden feel. The space will be occupied by the Champagne brand GH MUMM and features larger-scale imperial vases that add grandeur to the space.

Natália Coelho Arquitetura - Solange Fraga Health House (Administration and Meeting Room). Giving the space a welcoming atmosphere was Natália Coelho's idea when she developed the project. To achieve this, she opted for the use of many colors that evoke a playful environment and photographs that bring out the sweetness and innocence of children. “Despite the suffering of the treatment, we want to make the routine and everyday life lighter and more welcoming”, he says.

Augusto Senna - Architect's home office. In an area of 18 m², the professional created a personalized common area of the house, making the space suitable for a healthy, cozy and inspiring work environment. With the main focus on concentration, the environment has appropriate acoustic treatment and comfortable lighting. The yellow details stand out and reveal a lot about the architect's personality and preferences.

Nat Coelho Arquitetura - Convivência Axé. The diversity and Portuguese tiles that are the hallmarks of Bahia inspired the architect's environment that, through the art of the orixás of Mari Del Rei, celebrates our African heritage. The three-pointed sofa represents the axis of connection between religion, ancestry and communities. The craftsmanship is translated into the embroidery of the NGO Filhos de Bárbara, the wooden Orixás by Sandro Sal da Terra, and the lamps of indigenous origin. The curved bookshelf full of colors and randomly ordered suggests the disordered favelas. Big Z's graffiti and Jorge Amaro's black and white canvas suggest a reflection on the social contrast we experience. Hope is represented in Akira Cravo's photographs, while the Sword of Saint George represents protection.
Two Architecture and Interiors - Family Lounge. In a 130 m² space, the office led by architects Ana Claudia and Ana Paula Nonato created a project with a focus on the family. “The family is not only important because it is a divine institution, but also because it transmits to humanity a deeper revelation about God”, explain the architects, who in the past designed the largest space at CASACOR São Paulo 2021.

Dinah Lins Arquitetura e Interiores - Wings to Fly Bedroom. Inspired by Mexican artist Frida Khalo, the bedroom was designed based on people's resilience in the post-pandemic period and portrays Frida's art as an example of overcoming through a painting by artist Arthur Fraga. The work was installed on the ceiling of the room in order to portray and reinvent the way Frida painted while lying in bed. The idea is to bring reflection to the current moment in which people are following beauty standards and show that we must have our own identity, in addition to feminine strength, the well-being of homes and tranquility.
Jessica Araújo - Studio pod.misturar. The studio proposed by Jéssica Araújo is a mix of elements in harmony with works of art that, together with a technological infrastructure, provide a complete experience for visitors. To achieve this, the colors, movement and rhythms, organic and geometric shapes, light and shadow were designed to ensure contrasts. High-quality furniture and nature are the protagonists of the environment that is concerned with aesthetics without losing focus on functionality.

Joilson Barbosa, Luis Damarant, Tânia and Paula Facchinetti - Portal das Palmeiras. The winding staircase, flanked by lush palm trees, leads visitors to a relaxing environment, with furniture and decorative objects that provide comfort and a sense of well-being. The ambiance integrates the garden with the lounge. The water element was the starting point for the quartet's project, which created a waterfall and a small artificial lake that guarantee tranquility and freshness to the space. Gravel and vegetation create a transition between the outdoor garden and the indoor floor. The water falling into the lake is a sensory stimulant and complements the beauty and harmony of the space.

Dolores Landeiro - Solange Fraga Health Center (TV and Common Rooms, Cafeteria, Kitchen, and Service Area). Project by CASACOR Beneficente Bahia 2022. A color palette designed to bring the tones of nature into the home. This was the starting point for the design of the two rooms: one for the TV and the other for common use. For the first, the professional used comfortable furniture to make the place cozy and brought references from everyday life through photos; for the second, the architect designed an environment aimed at bringing people together and encouraging interaction. The cafeteria became a multipurpose space, where people can eat, watch TV, and play board games. The architect also invested in art, choosing a panel by artist Roy Constróy to compose the environment. “The work transmits hope and positive energy to children,” she explains. An enthusiast of social causes, Dolores Landeiro also embraced the kitchen project, opting for a more functional style with colors that encourage people to eat. In the service area, the concern was to meet the demands of the house, in addition to investing in materials that are resistant to constant use.
