The clients of this house located on the northern coast of São Paulo could not be more special to
architect Beatriz Quinelato : the retreat belongs to her parents, who wanted a contemporary and timeless space to welcome their children and young grandchildren. Since it is a beach residence and also has a swimming pool,
practicality was the main factor when choosing the furniture and coverings for all 270 m². (Adriano Escanhuela/CASACOR)
In the outdoor area, the furniture is made up of water-resistant pieces : the fabrics are waterproof, the sofa is weather-resistant, the chair is made of plastic spaghetti and the coffee table has a structure made of reclaimed wood.

The arrangement of the pieces was designed to create a conversation circle.
One of the few structural changes was moving the barbecue from the rooftop to the ground floor: now, in addition to being closer to the kitchen and the pool, when the family gets together to eat they also enjoy the garden and the comfort provided by the shade of the solid wood pergola.

Internally, both the integrated spaces of the social area and the four
bedrooms received a decoration that mixes shades of gray and lots of
wood .
