"Cozy" is the adjective that
Olegário de Sá chose to name the house that bears his signature at
CASACOR São Paulo in 2019. This coziness is where the "feeling of arriving and not wanting to leave home" emanates from, as described by architect, who focused on the principles of integrated environments and the contrast between rustic and modern to create a comforting atmosphere.
With the characteristics of a large loft, the house extends over a double-height ceiling, which is covered in American oak, and has a structure with exposed trusses. In addition, wood-framed screens enhance the language of homeliness that the architect seeks to adopt.
The gourmet area features blue and white furniture, which, combined with copper details and straw finishes, skillfully balance its appearance. The ornate light fixture attached to the wall is just one of the surprises in this space, which values details to reinvent itself.
Spread over 100m², the house comprises a combination of materials such as wood and natural stone, and leaves the structured glass and works of art with a modern touch. Pieces designed in steel complement it delicately.
