Architect Camila Bignoyo designs the High Tech Lavabo and a Wine Cellar inspired by old cellars

Camila Bignoto designed two spaces at CASA COR Minas Gerais 2016 , the Lavatory and the Wine Cellar , two small spaces separated by the great contrast between the rustic and modern styles.
Inspired by old wine cellars, the Wine Cellar is covered in exposed brick and lit by LEDs that emit little heat and maintain the room temperature. The bottles are stored in an iron structure designed by the architect and artist Eliana Braga from Minas Gerais. The metal rods simulate a vine on a pergola.
The lavatory was designed based on a completely different inspiration. The wallpaper textured like melted metal is just one of the contemporary references of the high-tech space. The faucet has an electronic system that stores and uses the energy produced by the flow of water. In addition, following the sustainability trend, metals and ceramics were designed to save water.
The highlight of the space is the indirect lighting that creates a 180º beam of light, dividing the space.
