The project by architect Patricia Penna, from the firm Patricia Penna Arquitetura & Design , is a dream retreat for a family with three children. Located in the interior of São Paulo, the house with more than 900 m² was designed to accommodate the residents and receive guests. To receive guests, it was essential to create a living room with an integrated social area , ideal for meetings. The balcony and garden connect the interior with the exterior, bringing nature inside and creating a cozy atmosphere.

“The brightness was one of the highlights of this project,” explains Patricia. The layout includes classic and organic furniture designs , such as sofas, armchairs and a hanging swing. The décor uses natural materials, such as a coffee table with a wooden top, rugs and baskets made of linen and natural fibers, highlighting the connection with nature .

In the social area, a complete gourmet kitchen in shades of gray and black adds a contemporary touch to the classic carpentry. Countertops in dark graphite sintered sheet metal complete the set, which includes a pit top , barbecue and beer tap. A sliding door connects to the kitchen , where the refrigerator and pantry are located. The place also has a climate-controlled wine cellar for 400 bottles, arranged on metal pins, with oak-covered floors and walls.

In the home theater , the generous linen sofa is ideal for accommodating several people for a movie session. Some decorative details stand out, such as the large panel in Travertine Silver, a natural and elegant material. Adjacent to the home theater , connected by a large sliding door, is the playroom with built-in cabinets hidden by a grooved panel. In the center of this set, a circular niche offers a playful resting area, while the other niches have been colored with a cheerful color palette.

The outdoor area with pool received special attention so that the experience would not be restricted to summer days. A fire pit, below the grass level, provides the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the late afternoon and pleasant evenings.

In children's bedrooms , each child's personality is prioritized. Lacquered panels, blinds and smart carpentry for niches, benches, shelves and desks are items that are present in all of them, but in different ways.
