Following the renovation of other boutiques around the world, including the Maison’s temples in London, New York and most recently in Paris,
Cartier Cidade Jardim becomes the first boutique in Brazil to adopt the latest design concept, which
preserves and extols local identity in the creation of unique projects. In homage to the exuberance of Brazil’s diverse landscapes, the design was inspired by the story of a bird whose flight across the country showcases the richness of this natural diversity.
Lights, textures, materials and colors that Cartier preserves –
beige, gold and champagne bronze – are balanced with colorful tones and personalized details to create an immersive atmosphere inside the boutique and highlight its different universes. "A subtle combination of the richness of Brazilian culture and the codes of the Maison make up the formula that unites expertise and local tradition with the contemporaneity of the new retail", reveals

Framed by translucent glass panels, the
façade draws attention to its prime location in the shopping mall and creates a sense of spaciousness and coziness. The natural light and abundance of greenery that mark the main floor of Cidade Jardim embrace this boutique.
On the right, a work by Brazilian artist
Natália Rios – a 1 m² hand-embroidered panel inspired by Cartier's Cactus collection – makes up the area dedicated to the feminine universe. The materials used to compose this work include
natural stones of Brazilian origin such as mother-of-pearl, tiger's eye and agate, as well as glass pearls and corals brought from France.
The exclusive details of the ceiling, made using the patina technique by visual artists
Adriana and Carlota , invite customers to the next room, where the watch and fragrance collections are displayed.
Inside, you will find the most intimate and welcoming area of this boutique. Comprising a main living room and two VIP rooms, this space is dedicated to meetings and celebrations. The decor was inspired by the relaxed atmosphere of Brazilian balconies and the elegance of Parisian apartments, with furniture designed by Brazilian designers
Jorge Zalszupin, Jader Almeida and
Arthur Casas , and tauari wood floors. The bar, decorated with ceramic tiles made by artist
Flavia del Pra , is the focal point of the latter area. “Our goal is for the boutique to be a welcoming space to welcome our clients and visitors. A place where they can feel at home and comfortable coming in, having a coffee and, consequently, staying with us for longer,” says Maxime.
