Brutalism synchronized with Brazilian tropicalism at CASACOR SP

A 450 m² space, with a brutalism concept synchronized with Brazilian tropicalism characterizes Praça Eliane , by landscaper Alex Hanazaki and the Eliane Revestimentos brand, at CASA COR São Paulo 2016 . “My main concern was to create an industrialized line, completely inspired by nature, but offering the most perfect aesthetics and greater durability than the raw material. This partnership with Eliane Revestimentos came from the product to the design of the space”, explains the landscape architect. The brand is participating in the show and is launching a line of porcelain tiles for floors, walls and pebbles made from recycled ceramic material, designed by landscaper Hanazaki himself. It is also investing in the Cleantec system, a trend produced in Brazil by the brand, which is surprising due to its self-cleaning, antibacterial and air purification properties, making environments healthier and easier to maintain.

In addition to exploring the best ways to use porcelain tiles, in complete balance with nature, the professional harmonized a floating garden composed of the natural elements water, fire and various species of plants, having planted 12 trees of the iconic Pau-Brasil - cultivated in a nursery - throughout the area of Praça Eliane . “I inserted the 12 specimens of Pau-Brasil into the space, of course, also preserving existing species. I thought it was important to praise and value local nature, reminding people of the tree that is the symbol of our country,” explains Hanazaki. The professional also wanted to stimulate different sensations in the visitor: as soon as you enter through a tunnel, you feel, on one side, the presence of nature in an immense vertical garden. On the other side, the subtle incidence of natural light invades the corridor through a roof with a pergola and sunshades made with a metal structure and porcelain tiles in different tones, such as: black, gray, beige, nude, off-white and white. The brand's products will also be available in the spaces of professionals Fábio Morozini, Beatriz Zamperline and Mariana Zimmermann, Gerson Dutra de Sá and Ana Lucia Salama, Rodrigo Loeb and Caio Dotto.
