Inspired by ballet, architects Cyane Zoboli and Ana Elisa Hott, from the CZHOTT Arquitetura e Interiores office, designed the
Bar Lounge at
CASACOR São Paulo 2018 , which is operated by Iulia, owned by businessman Chico Lima.
“In our first meeting, Chico made us feel at ease, asking only that we include his ballerina statuette, which has great sentimental value, as a tribute to his daughter, who died three years ago and who danced ballet. We wanted to respect the family’s history. Iulia, and that's why we were inspired by this beautiful artistic form and created the space with different compositions, such as the pink panel in the background inspired by a ballerina's pointe shoe”, reveal architects Cyane Zoboli and Ana Elisa Hott.
In this delicate atmosphere, the professionals opted for the pink tone and used it as the starting point for the project. It appears on the walls and in the details, creating a pleasant sensation for the visitor. This atmosphere is also the result of the choice of lower furniture, which invites the visitor to public to stay, rest, have a drink or eat a meal. In terms of furniture, sofas and upholstery in more neutral colors respond harmoniously to the color palette of the environment.
One of the highlights is the
handmade art , made of natural rope, signed by Wilson Ferreira, from Galeria ArtCausa. The work brightens up one of the lounge walls and represents the movement of dance. In addition to this, other art pieces were developed exclusively for the space. , all based on dance that originated in the courts of Renaissance Italy during the 15th century.

To complete the delicate atmosphere, the professionals opted for detailed carpentry, which is the star of one of the space’s walls. “We know that it makes a difference and we worked with symmetry and focus on the smallest details. We used wood in several places, in a natural way.” and with different applications. The entire MDF panel is from Duratex, in the color Pink Glamour, a launch by
