Winter Garden, by Adriana Valle and Patricia Carvalho - CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2022 Environment

01/14 - Adriana Valle and Patricia Carvalho - Winter Garden. A room designed for meetings, with different scenes for different moments: there is a table for a meal for two; the room to gather friends; and a work corner. The lighting is all indirect, to be used especially at night, as during the day the space is bathed in natural light and surrounded by the greenery of the planters created in the windows. The furniture, in freijó, was designed by the professional duo, who opted for a palette with tones such as terracotta, blue and green. (André Nazareth)

Tempo Room, by Dado Castello Branco. Environment of CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2022.

02/14 - Dado Castello Branco - Sala Tempo. If anything has changed with the pandemic, it is the home and the way we see, and desire, its interior spaces. And a family environment that allows coexistence among its residents is at the top of that list. Just like a home office. Because Sala Tempo brings together both, privileging moments of intimacy without giving up its contemporary aesthetic that creates a decoration in which wood and raw fabrics are mixed with nationally designed furniture, antiques and the use of many works of art. (André Nazareth)

Wine cellar, by Ana Cano Milman and Claudia Infante - Environment of CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2022

03/14 - Ana Cano Milman and Claudia Infante - Adega. Tempo. In the house's original basement, recently discovered and completely renovated for CASACOR Rio, it is the guiding principle behind the project by the professional duo, who are bringing the space into the 21st century with lightness and elegance. With contemporary and playful furniture and new works of art created especially for the exhibition, the Adega da Casa values hospitality and well-being and welcomes visitors with an incredible selection of Porto Di Vino wines, which can be tasted on the spot or taken home. (André Nazareth)

Music Room, by Tiago Freire - CASACOR Rio 2022

04/14 - Tiago Freire - Sala Da Música. From original grandeur to Brazilianness. Our Sala da Música is a timeless space that celebrates the beauty we have. Starting with the work Biblioteca, by Nelson Leirner, which appears for the first time in a decoration exhibition - a tribute to the artist who would have turned 90 in 2022. There are also architectural elements such as the muxarabi, which covers the ceiling, bringing even more prominence to the space's original Baccarat chandelier; and pieces of furniture designed by important names in national design. (André Nazareth)

Designer's Studio, by Camilla Bortolini and Priscilla Dias- CASACOR Rio 2022

05/14 - Camilla Bortolini and Priscilla Dias - Designer's Studio. A return to the basics, irregular, rough, raw and raw. In this studio, designed to house a designer from Rio de Janeiro, textures dictate the pace of work. The focus is no longer on digital art, which is so prevalent today, and raw materials return, with their textures, smells and temperatures. They are even on the ceiling, which has been lined with sisal rope from the construction site. An environment to sit on the floor, walk, draw freehand, throw yourself on the couch, receive friends and even spend the night after a busy day. (André Nazareth)

Soul Space, by Rodrigo Barbosa - CASACOR Rio 2022

06/14 - Rodrigo Barbosa - Espaço Soul. Neither classic nor contemporary. Simply carioca. Full of style and, of course, soul! A multifunctional space that brings together the mix and match of the house's classic architecture with organic furniture and the use of many colors and textures, which appear mainly in the tie-dye curtains and maxi rug. A work of art with ropes and threads adds a certain artisanal touch. While Beto Gatti's work, from the Marcas do Tempo series, combines technology and antiques. (André Nazareth)

Urban Refuge, by UP3 Arquitetura- CASACOR Rio 2022

07/14 - UP3 Arquitetura by Cadé Marino, Michelle Wilkinson and Thiago Morsch - Urban Refuge. A sensory balcony that transports visitors to a universe where urban chaos seems to be in another dimension. Here, the smell is unique and exclusive; the music is relaxing; the atmosphere is one of peace and tranquility. The highlight of the décor is the muxarabi ceiling, which creates a play of light and shadows, helping visitors disconnect from everything around them. Organic shapes, an earthy tone palette, natural elements and a strong presence of green remind us that this world is indeed from Rio! (André Nazareth)

Sergio-Conde-Caldas_Patricia-Andrade-002

08/14 - Sérgio Conde Caldas Arquitetura - “The Poet’s Song”. A space to disconnect from the outside world and embark on a world of poetry. Surrounded by green gardens, the studio built in one of CMC Modular's residential metallic modules used in our Vila CASACOR prioritizes sustainability with large openings that allow cross ventilation and glass that blocks heat, reducing the use of air conditioning. The decor is contemporary and minimalist with furniture with organic shapes that highlight national works of art. (André Nazareth)

Patio Living Room - Maurício Nóbrega Architecture. Environment of CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2022.

09/14 - Maurício Nóbrega Arquitetura - Estar do Pátio. An informal living room, connected to the house's wine cellar, which was designed to host wine-filled gatherings, a game between friends or simply to rest. The decor features a mix of contemporary furniture, from CasaShopping stores, such as the sofa specially designed by Maria Cândida Machado, and the sophistication of gold contrasting with natural materials such as straw, sisal, wooden trunks and clay vases. A true lightweight, casual and elegant put-together. (André Nazareth)

Prosa Space, by Paula Neder and PN+ Collective - CASACOR Rio 2022

10/14 - Paula Neder and Coletivo PN+ - Espaço Prosa. A light and comfortable space that invites, welcomes and shelters. A meeting point for multiple forms of exchange. The furniture prioritizes loose furniture that brings flexibility in the use of space, with a highlight being the re-edited bookcase by Bernardo Figueiredo. The finishes follow the natural line, with neutral colors, handcrafted objects, wood, fibers and a certain air of imperfection. Color appears with everything in the kitchen, created in a previously closed space of the house, and in the artistic mural by Coletivo Muda. (André Nazareth)

Living from the Source, by Paola Ribeiro - CASACOR Rio 2022

11/14 - Paola Ribeiro - Living da Fonte. A large living room. An environment designed to host meetings, meals, moments of reading, rest and leisure. Following the color palette of the room, which has a ceiling worked with moldings and moldings, the space features Trilha Verde, by Coral (a cyan tone) in panels, lattices and rugs. But also a lot of white in fabrics, furniture and contemporary style objects, like Naoto Fukasawa's bookshelf. A way to bring lightness to the space and integrate it even more with the Pátio da Fonte, just opposite. (André Nazareth)

Time of the Soul, by Cristina Bezamat - CASACOR Rio 2022

12/14 - Cristina Bezamat - Tempo da Alma. The inspiration comes from far away: from the Nordic countries where the Swedish Lagom philosophy of “not too much, not too little” prevails and the Danish Hygge style, which prioritizes well-being. The décor features a palette of soft and cozy pastel tones; an incredible selection of works of art and national design pieces with curved and minimalist shapes. The use of fibers such as linen, hemp and jute give a Brazilian touch to this intimate space that proposes a break for rest in contact with nature. (André Nazareth)

Mario-Santos-012

13/14 - Mario Costa Santos - Pavilion 22. On the centenary of the Modern Art Week, a very modernist pavilion. The space is fluid, open to the pool and surrounded by the garden. There are two spaces – living room and gourmet kitchen – that are interconnected from a central patio where the Caridade sculpture was kept. The décor features modern furniture classics and a thoughtful selection of art curated by Heloísa Amaral Peixoto. On the facade, the metal structure of CMC Modular was covered by brises that bring the impact of modern architecture. (André Nazareth)

Migrant House, by João Panaggio - CASACOR Rio 2022

14/14 - João Panaggio - Casa Migrante. On the beach, in the countryside, or in a corner of the city. Casa Migrante could be anywhere, but it was in one of the most charming corners of our garden that it was born. Its architecture is striking – somewhat modernist –, with a metal structure covered externally in stone and a large internal space – almost without divisions. There, the woven wood panel stands out, which separates intimate and social areas, and a huge skylight in the bedroom that transforms day and night light into a vivid picture. (André Nazareth)
