A temple dedicated to art . This is the proposal from interior designer Claudia Infante with Loft da Cris , a space that is part of the 33rd edition of CASACOR Rio 2024 , which takes place until November 24th at the Fashion Mall, in São Conrado. The Cris in question is the image consultant, fashionista and art lover, Cris Pinheiro Guimarães, a great honoree.

"I designed the loft of the art collector , a woman dedicated to art and culture, with a broad repertoire and a reverent look at the past to build a richer, more valuable future", explains Claudia. And this look sublimely contemplates the theme of this year's exhibition, "From the present, the now", a reflection on the legacy for future generations.

In 90 m², an apartment full of curves and colors opens up and invites visitors to not only get to know the honoree, but to think about architecture and design as something that impacts the present and future. Through this prism, Claudia creates a totally open and integrated loft, where a large hall houses the rooms: living, dining, kitchen, bedroom, suite and bathroom .

The designer's proposal is to highlight one of the most basic and essential sides of human existence: socialization . "The space is completely open, with the wardrobe without a background so that the light passes through the entire space. The neutral base is purposeful so that the color can be created with whatever is placed on the shelves, floors and walls", explains the designer.

The neutral base project was designed so that the art and furniture were responsible for coloring the environment. The shelves form a curve that symbolizes a hug, conveying welcome and protection to the space. The curation of furniture and art in the space highlights the idea of reverence for the past made in the present with the intention that it be propagated into the future . Pieces such as the Cloud Armchair, designed by Estúdio Corbelli, the Jangada Armchair and Stool, by Jean Gillon , and vases by ceramist Renata Curado stand out in the project.
