The
Elos – Memórias Além do Tempo space marks
Romário Rodrigues ’ debut at
CASACOR Ceará 2024 , after a remarkable participation in the São Paulo edition of the same year. With 185 m², the space is a tribute to memories and the emotional connection that objects and architecture can provide. Inspired by the life of a 38-year-old single man, photographer and passionate about
design and art, the project reflects the complexity of a lifestyle that
values both modernity and personal history . “In this space, the fusion between the tangible and the intangible, between technology and
nature , translates into sensations that evoke the past and point to the future”, explains the architect.

The layout of the space offers a proposal that unites past and present, creating a bond that transcends time. The
fluid layout and generous spaces favor circulation, with a
comfortable ceiling height that conveys a welcoming atmosphere. The
furniture was carefully selected to tell a story, while also highlighting contemporary trends, such as the use of stainless steel and fabrics with different textures and finishes. These materials, combined with natural wood, porcelain, stone and other elements, create a visually striking and sensorially rich space.

The
predominant colors — black, brown and gray — reinforce the sobriety and sophistication of the space, contrasting elegantly with the art and
design pieces. The space is also a tribute to significant people and moments in the architect's career. A special painting celebrates Etevaldo Nogueira, a dear friend and client of Romário Rodrigues, giving a touch of intimacy to the project.

Furthermore, the space is enriched by a remarkable curation of
art .
Sculptures by artists Jaildo, Arthur Lescher and Calvão join two works by Cadeh Juaçaba from Ceará and a
photograph by Nicolas Gondim, creating a visual dialogue between different forms of art and expression. The inclusion of a piece by Picasso highlights the value given to the narratives that classical and contemporary art can add to the space.

The furniture designed exclusively for the space includes coffee tables and a home office desk, which reflect the refined taste for functional and aesthetic design, always aligned with the needs of a modern lifestyle. These launches reinforce Romário's commitment to creating unique spaces, where every detail contributes to the construction of an atmosphere that involves and inspires.

Sustainability is also a concern present in the project, evidenced by the use of antique furniture, which brings stories and new life to the environment, in addition to
energy-efficient technologies, such as LED lighting and clean energy, promoting a balance between design and environmental awareness.

"Elos
– Memórias Além do Tempo is a celebration of the stories that environments can tell and the emotional connections they can create, making design a bridge between what has been experienced and what is yet to come", adds Romário.
