The GAM Arquitetos office, composed of Anna Fernandes, Guido Ramos and Marcelo Bezerril, marks its debut at CASACOR Bahia , signing a space marked by concrete brutalism and a select curation of art and design.

In the Artist's Workshop , measuring 110 m², the professionals chose to reveal and enhance the beauty of the site's pre-existing architecture and structure through a low-impact and sustainable intervention. What was maintained are the original pillars of the house and the walls built with exposed concrete blocks, which received a treatment to further rescue the imperfect aesthetics of the elements.

On the side wall, concrete bricks form cobogós, which provide natural lighting and ventilation, and on the inside, the same material, in different positions, is transformed into sconces and cachepots, presenting the different facets of the brutalist element.

One of the highlights is the space's central table, designed by the office especially for the Bahian exhibition. The piece is 6 m long and has a crack, from which a jabuticaba tree sprouts, which was inserted as a symbol of prosperity. “We want to preserve the purity and simplicity of the materials, without superfluities or adornments. We believe that the functional is the essential”, says Guido.

To add to the decor, the trio bet on a select art curation from Tria Galeria, with works created by the +FV art office. In addition to these artistic pieces, the massive presence of cutting-edge design is one of the project's characteristics. The furniture features national names such as Sergio Rodrigues, Jader Almeida and Gustavo Bittencourt and an Italian classic: the UP armchair, by Gaetano Pesce.
