Keeping a kitchen beautiful and organized is a challenge, especially in small and narrow spaces. Organizing cabinets is always on the radar of those who want to keep the space perfect. According to architect Cristiane Schiavoni, organization and beauty go hand in hand – and one cannot exist without the other. That's why she listed some surefire tips that will help you when organizing your kitchen cabinets. Check it out! Estilos contemporâneo, industrial e retrô criam apê despojado de 180 m². It’s also important to consider ergonomics, which in some cases is even more important than making the most of the space,” explains the architect. “Ergonomics are essential to making access to items safe and easy , especially because many kitchen objects are heavy.”

A popular idea, especially in apartment kitchens , is to use cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling, an excellent resource, especially for those who have little space. It is recommended to store items that are rarely used there , such as a special dinner set, for example, while everyday items are stored in the more accessible cabinets.

More practicality for the kitchen

In addition to kitchen cabinets, residents can also invest in a sideboard or china cabinet to keep table items closer to the dining room. Other items, such as dish towels, tablecloths and placemats, also need their own, accessible places . Drawers can be ideal for this.

Going vertical can help

Using shelves in the kitchen is a way to make the space more practical. “ Dishes and other heavy utensils need to be stored safely and easily. Ideally, the shelves should be adjusted according to the height and depth of the items to be stored,” explains the architect. Additional features can make it easier to use and see items, such as shelves for non-perishable foods in clear containers and hooks near the stove for frequently used utensils.
