When the young couple with one child bought this
85 m² apartment in São Paulo off-plan, they called interior designer
Adriana Farias - from the
CASACOR SP 2024 cast - to monitor the works and think about the interiors. Soon, the family realized they didn't need the third bedroom, which was demolished and attached to the living room. "
I also decided to remove the balcony door and integrate everything: the kitchen, living room, the third bedroom and the balcony. This way, the property seemed to be even bigger", says the professional.
A part of the demolished
room was used in the private part, where it functions as
a wardrobe in the hallway and an office inside the couple's bedroom where the husband works. "I changed walls to achieve this result", he reveals.
At the entrance, the
hall has a
bench with a mirror for residents to leave their shoes when they arrive. "The furniture was found on the internet by the office and had exactly the same measurements and the same model that we had designed. A find!", recalls Adriana.
The
stone used in the
kitchen , on the counter and on the balcony is a
Brazilian granite called Via Láctea, which has high resistance and low cost. "They love cooking and asked for a black stone. I wanted to get away from the famous Preto São Gabriel and bring a stone that is just as resistant, but more beautiful. It has white veins and brings a certain movement to the environment, as well as being very elegant", explains the interior designer.
The
freijó MDF and the black color of the stone and lamps create a neutral and timeless decor, enhanced by the
indirect lighting. In the bathroom, a shower with fluted glass camouflages the shower a little and the same color as the wall in the entrance hall was used to give it a look of a guest bathroom.
