architect Roby Macedo to carry out a renovation of the

The only change to the plan occurred on the balcony, which was isolated and, with the renovation, became integrated into the social area to make the sea view available to anyone in both the living room and the dining room.

The integration also opened up space for a table with six seats in the dining room and a table with eight seats on the gourmet balcony, without compromising the circulation of the spaces.

As the client owns an art gallery and collects works of very different styles. Therefore, the architect adopted a
clean contemporary look for the decor, with a very neutral base (including the
off-white fabric upholstery of the sofa, chairs and armchairs), allowing the paintings to stand out, without visually weighing down the space.
“The client’s collection is vast. So, we asked her to select her favorite pieces that would be displayed in the room and we kept the rest. In this way, we respected her taste and history, without compromising the lightness of the decor and the feeling of spaciousness that we were looking for in her new home”, says the architect.
