A couple from Rio de Janeiro who moved to São Paulo with their two children and dog wanted to bring the soul of Rio de Janeiro to their home in São Paulo: a 220 m² apartment located in Alto da Lapa, West Zone of the capital of São Paulo. Apto 220 m², Studio 92 Arquitetura For this, Studio 92 Arquitetura came into play to bring this characteristic in a cheerful, youthful way that created a true "air bridge" between the two cities. Apto 220 m², Studio 92 Arquitetura The first step was to create a more fluid space by removing the balcony doors to create a large, fully integrated room, divided only by furniture and distinct colors. A two-burner cooktop and an electric grill (Eletromec) were installed on the counter, which supports the charcoal grill provided by the construction company. The apartment has an amazing view of the Serra da Cantareira , which serves as a backdrop to the dining room . To better enjoy the landscape, the architects designed a huge bench on the balcony railing. Apto 220 m², Studio 92 Arquitetura The furniture was essential to differentiate the spaces. One example was the metal sideboard to separate the living room from the home theater . The opposite wall was painted in burnt cement and the TV was fixed to the wall itself. The architecture firm also designed the concrete rack, which was formatted on site, and has metalwork doors and electrostatic painting. Apto 220 m², Studio 92 Arquitetura The colors were carefully chosen to create a cheerful communication that conveyed the locals' Carioca soul in an environment where industrial touches prevail. Shades of pink, blue and green invade the spaces in a contrasting and balanced way .
