For some, the kitchen is just a room in the house; for others, it is a place of great passion. With this second case in mind, architect Pietro Terlizzi led a renovation with the aim of bringing more prominence to the kitchen of this 187 m² apartment located in Vila Romana, São Paulo. To achieve this, the architect decided to integrate the kitchen area with the balcony, and create a single, spacious and fluid square with excellent lighting . A kitchen that no one would complain about being cramped in. Reforma apartamento por Pietro Terlizzi “This abundant circulation is an invitation for people to experience the pleasant atmosphere of the kitchen,” emphasizes the professional. By taking advantage of the layout , it was also possible to include a dining room , with a table that starts from the large central niche of cabinets , and an eye-catching glass cabinet.
Lighting was not a problem: with the glass enclosure that runs along the building's façade, the apartment is filled with natural light that brings warmth and sophistication to all the rooms, especially the living room.

The island sofa was the fundamental element for compartmentalizing and exploring the room in two moments : on one side, a living room focused on socializing and, on the other, the furniture faces a wooden panel that houses a rack, TV panel and niches that serve as a stage for the residents' emotional adornments.

In the dining room, nature takes center stage: wooden elements of different tones together with the straw upholstery of the chairs bring a mild and contemporary atmosphere to the space .

The apartment had the privilege of having two balconies: the first used to integrate the kitchen, and the second in the gourmet balcony style next to the living room. In the space, the L-shaped countertop was supported by well-optimized carpentry, which houses the barbecue, the sink and a food support area .
