The original
layout of this 300 m² apartment in the Campo Belo neighborhood of São Paulo did not please the couple with two children: the plan had a living room and kitchen that were very separate and lacked space for family time and entertaining friends. "The first step was to rethink the layouts, adapt some environments and reposition some walls to improve circulation. The biggest challenge was to move the toilet and build all the infrastructure in the apartment itself, without changing the property below," explains the architect.
Sabrina Salles , author of the project and part of the
CASACOR São Paulo cast.
The
apartment , with double height ceilings, is extremely bright due to the large window frames, which made it possible to leave the living room and kitchen with natural light and well ventilated, with the integration of the two spaces.
The balcony was integrated into the living room and revamped as a living room, featuring furniture that combines straight lines with organic design in a contemporary concept. The
wine cellar was the client's dream.
The choice of furniture included iconic pieces such as the Mole and Moleca armchair, by
Sergio Rodrigues – timeless pieces that last a long time, due to their quality and design.
The balcony sofa has an organic design and matches the client's furniture, such as the side table and the log table. The stools add a touch of color to the
decor .
“In the dining room, the Jader Almeida chandelier was assembled on site: there were 25 pendants, all hung in places and heights decided at the time, which generated a unique result”, comments Sabrina.
The master bedroom has been integrated into the balcony, with a leveled floor and a sofa for the living area. To store personal items, the leather dresser has drawers with dividers. The glass table with a brushed steel base serves as a desk and dressing table. The
superking bed has an upholstered headboard. “The slats came from the original design, and we followed them along the entire length of the wall,” concludes the architect.
