An
apartment located in the Aclimação neighborhood of São Paulo relied on the creative and sensitive eye of
Ticiane Lima to bring precise solutions for a couple with a baby and a dog. They wanted the home to be cozy and have a
cleaner palette. To achieve good circulation, the architect did away with some walls to transform the apartment into a
125 m² studio apartment . The idea also contributed to better
natural lighting in the integrated dining and living rooms.
A
gourmet balcony was also a great option to
comfortably welcome friends and family , especially at a new time for the couple who were about to have a baby during the planning stage.
The architect also opted for different ideas to ensure the baby's safety, such as the
upholstered sofa and
straight, free passageways for easier access . The apartment is very practical, which makes things easier for parents. The doors were made using
mashrabiyas to help divide the spaces and also contribute to better natural lighting.
A
wardrobe draws attention with a camouflaged circulation, which offers maximum practicality to the couple, being a more airy place to store clothes and shoes.
A
home office with the same color palette as the apartment was improvised in a small space. The light wood and blue-gray work very well to create an atmosphere of concentration and creativity. The architect also opted for local materials to make the
space more sustainable , in addition to using methods to use the
minimum amount of inert materials and construction waste .
