A favorite of the décor world in recent years, the Japandi style is born from the union of Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian aesthetics – its characteristics include light tones, the use of natural materials and the appreciation of the textures and history of each piece. In this apartment in Rio de Janeiro, designed by Todos Arquitetura , Japandi gets a Brazilian touch, with lots of national design and beach elements from Rio. "It's a Japandioca refuge," joke the professionals, who designed Casa ETÉ Duratex at CASACOR SP 2022. .

Since the property is rented, the architectural interventions in the 150 m² apartment were specific. The original wooden floor was restored with sanding and wax applied to demolition floors. A new lighting project was drawn up and all the electrical work was updated.

The loose furniture was assembled after careful curation : pieces by Guilherme Wentz are accompanied by ceramics from Estúdio Heloísa Galvão, sculptures brought back from trips to the Delta do Parnaíba and Ilha do Ferro, accessories from Estúdio Rain and more, all framed by colors that move between white, beige, green dots and many wood patterns.
