Marina, a young, independent woman who came from Salvador to São Paulo, achieved her dream of owning her own apartment and lives alone in this 79 m² apartment located in the Pinheiros region. One of the resident's greatest desires was for her new home to reflect her personality and also be more spacious. To make all these wishes come true, Mandril Arquitetura was chosen to create a project that combined creativity, youth and more practicality for Marina.

The apartment, which was originally delivered with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, laundry room and balcony, was completely redesigned. The resident asked to remove the interior walls of almost all the rooms (except the bathroom), and transform the space into a spacious loft .

To preserve privacy, but without giving up on the resident's initial request, Mandril proposed a metalwork with a folding door to separate the bedroom from the living room, a suggestion that brought a more intimate feel to this area.

The decor followed a more dramatic line, with striking femininity. Shades of pink and burgundy were highlighted amidst the neutral gray base, which made the project much more charismatic.

The balcony has become a space for appreciation and also for cultivation. There, a plant shelf has various herbs and species. An armchair has been positioned with a view of the outside, perfect for moments of decompression.

Many design pieces found by the office were incorporated to bring more modernity and the look the apartment deserved, such as the tea trolley from TEO. The colorful rug is the star of the living room, and makes the space more colorful and fun.
