This 180 m² apartment located in a 1960s building on Oscar Freire Street in São Paulo was renovated by architect Marcelo Macedo , responsible for directing Studio MEMM .

To meet the client's needs, the team focused on reorganizing the segmented spaces with a new layout . In this way, the project brought spaciousness to the environments, in addition to creating smarter circulation flows and rooms that better met the owners' needs .
A highlight is the identity of the architectural project and its relationship with art and design. In addition to the initial desire for minimalist and monochromatic environments, the clients had a previous collection of works of art and design pieces that they intended to arrange in the composition.

The translucent glass of the sliding door, if necessary, ensures complete isolation between the rooms, providing visual privacy when necessary. However, the slatted wood in the kitchen brings refinement from the social space into this area, suggesting that it remains open for longer.
