At first glance, this project seems like a cozy living room in a residential apartment. But its purpose is different: the
50 m² space houses the office of a psychologist who is also a photographer. In addition to the consultation area, the project by architect
Ana Weege – from the
CASACOR SP cast – also needed to include a space for occasional events.
"She is a young, generous and very enlightened person.
The main need was to have independent reception and service spaces, including acoustic comfort between the two ," says Ana. To receive visitors, the integration of spaces was also a key factor in the project.
"We were looking for something unique,
welcoming , that provides
security , but at the same time does not characterize a space for permanence. We used more neutral and light tones, but without losing the colorful soul that is the DNA here at the office.
Something that refers to a home and not just a standard office ", explains the architect.
The pantry was moved to the
balcony – where structural intervention was required to create a water supply point – and the dividing doors received acoustic treatment. The
layout also includes a reception and service room.
Curved panels create movement on the walls. Ana's office also designed the
reception desk (with a solid imbuia wood top, lacquer and leather legs) and the
waiting room carpet .
