Architecture can transport us to different places and times through its appearance, aroma or even texture. More than simply serving as a decoration showcase,
CASACOR aims to
provide unique moments and inspire visitors with environments that are true works of art. The CASACOR team always seeks to bring its repertoire and create memorable projects -
and this year was no different . In celebration of
CASACOR São Paulo 's 35th anniversary, some professionals bet on the
beauties of the world and brought references in remarkable spaces that make the visitor feel immersed in the culture and traditions of several countries around the world. Check it out below!
Tuscan Corner
In her debut at CASACOR,
Sabrina Salles wanted to bring the atmosphere of Tuscany, a region of
Italy , to pay homage to the history of the coffee barons who immigrated to Brazil. The project combines
rustic elements with the atmosphere of the Italian city, resulting in a pleasant and surprising look. “It was through visual permeability, affective memory through classic elements with
history and
memories of old mansions that I connected the space to the theme”, reveals the architect.
Tulum bathroom
Designed by
Joe Filho Arquitetos ,
Baño Tulum was inspired by a
small Mexican city 130 km from the bustling Cancún, which the architect traveled to and fell in love with.
Tulum is considered
Mexico's "coastal paradise" and is surprisingly known for having – in addition to its natural beauty – an archaeological site made up of
Mayan ruins . The colors chosen are reminiscent of beach sand and the handcrafted pieces are a more primitive style of the culture of the ancient people who inhabited the region.
BALUWÉ EXU O'NAN
(Renato Navarro / CASACOR)
A
striking and powerful visual design was created by
Guto Andrade Arquitetura for CASACOR. The architect celebrates religious diversity inspired by the African deity.
(Renato Navarro / CASACOR)
The reference begins with a palette that ranges from black to red and continues to the
slate covering , a stone widely used as flooring in Candomblé and Umbanda temples.
Ostuni Studio
Puglia , in Italy, is known as the "white city" because of its old
, rustic buildings in light tones that blend well with the region's coastal climate. This was Gregory Copello's inspiration for the
Ostuni Studio – named after one of the city's communes.
(Denilson Machado / CASACOR)
The space has a light, white look, but at the same time, it has a
contrasting texture present in the brick wall and the use of carbon steel, materials responsible for bringing the more rustic air of the Puglia region.
Boreal Studio
The
polar aurora (or northern lights) is an optical phenomenon that can be observed at night in regions close to the polar zones. The impressive visual of different colored waves in the sky is
one of the most curious natural beauties in the world , and thinking about bringing a touch of innovation to her participation this year,
Ana Weege reflected these colors in a studio project.
Named
Estúdio Boreal , the name refers both to the profusion of colors of the polar aurora, as well as to the work Boreal, by Sergio Lucena, which summarizes the atmosphere of the space.
Hellas Terrace
(Renato Navarro / CASACOR)
The landscaper opted for the
lightness of the region and brought the
colors of both the buildings and the sea reflected on the terrace; as well as
species of plants typical of the region to take visitors on a true trip to Greece without leaving São Paulo.
