The name of the project - "Acervo" - could not be more appropriate for this apartment in Pinheiros (SP): works of art and designer furniture are spread throughout its
332 m² . The project is designed by the
Sala2 Arquitetura office, led by architect
Vanessa Martins, and part of the
CASACOR SP 2024 cast.
The renovation prioritized larger, more
integrated spaces.
Without the old divisions between balcony, living room and entrance hall, the living area incorporated the entire footage of the rooms. To showcase the residents' art collection, the project features
timeless finishes and its neutrality was purposefully designed to highlight the objects.
The
cellar, which stores up to 60 bottles, did not need to be seen and was hidden behind the entrance portico.
The furniture is a co-star of the decor, all designed by renowned designers, such as
Carlos Motta (of the Astúrias armchairs and Maresias chairs),
Jader Almeida (of the Teca bar cart and the box sofa) and
Gaetano Pesce and his sculptural Up5 armchair.
