The atmosphere in the Decompression Room, designed by Carla Napolião, Aurora Grei and Andrea Eiraspor, is tropical. This space is a counterpoint to the lack of greenery in cities and aims to create an indoor forest.

Camila Ramundo, Danilo Ferreira and Maria Carolina Valim used their creativity to incorporate foliage and other plants into the Living Area. A shelf with a niche becomes a support for the vases, which are placed next to the books and other decorative objects.

Introspection is not a painful thing at the Psychoanalysis Office, run by professionals Isabella Lucena and Paula Gusmão. Cacti and kokedmas placed near the window complement the yellowish colors to create an intimate and subjective atmosphere, bathed in natural light.

Green predominates in various forms in the Sala Carioca, designed by Márcia and Manu Müller. Whether in the form of coverings, in the vertical garden containing fresh herbs and even in the graphics of leaves and engravings of insects.

Nature is present in the details of the Historian's Room, designed by Lia Lamego. The reduced scale, however, does not mean a smaller impact. The delicate beauty of the terrariums and the hanging and potted tropical plants make the space light and interesting.

The words “forest” and “city” are usually represented as antagonistic spaces. On one side, concrete, on the other, leaves, on one side, steel, and on the other, earth. CASACOR ’s 2018 theme – The Living House –, however, proposes precisely the integration between nature and architecture, with its incorporation into interiors. The professionals at CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2018 used their creativity to bring plants into everyday life. Whether in more functional ways, like in the Gourmet Garden , or to create lighter atmospheres, like in the Psychoanalysis Office , small forests invaded the spaces. Check it out in the gallery!
