Garage Pavilion - André Monte. The backdrop of the house's main garden draws the attention of visitors. The open space was used to unify the indoor and outdoor areas. To this end, glass panels were used to further enhance the integration. Inspired by the work of photographer Julius Shulman, elements from the 1950s and 1960s stand out, including the use of 100% Brazilian straw furniture. The Soto armchair by Ronald Sasson is part of the furniture.

In 300 m², the landscaper portrays in an organic and intimate way the connection with the five senses: sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste. Five majestic trees welcome the kiosk, which blends with the trunk and creates a unit of relaxation and contemplation.

Sound Room with Wine Cellar - Luciana Brasileiro. The designer's starting point was to integrate the space with used materials. Through straight lines, the project brings vegetation and natural materials – such as wood, iron and stones. The wooden structure on the ceiling brings a feeling of comfort to the viewer, who enjoys socializing with the sofa positioned in the center of the room. The old buildings are recalled through the exposed bricks, the emphasis on the dome on the ceiling and the concrete paint.

Regional elements are highlighted to awaken affective memories.

Zenon Barreto Gallery - Camila Claudino. Zenon Barreto is honored in the space with works that make up the landscape of Fortaleza and focuses on works inspired by the leading role of rural women. Iracema Guardiã, one of the artist's main sculptures, can be seen alongside the others that make up the collection of the Zenon Barreto Institute. The architectural proposal highlights the pieces through lighting and unfinished, rustic and deconstructed materials.

Family Room - Ney Filho. The architect's proposal was to revive the country culture. The living room proposes that the habit of talking with family and friends be explored inside the home. Only nature - especially the mandacaru cactus - inspires him to compose the space, which has no TV or any other type of technology. Alongside Marcus Braga and Celina Hissa, Ney is responsible for the furniture, developed exclusively for the Ceará exhibition. The Mole armchair, by Sergio Rodrigues, is part of the furniture selection.

Green Room - Maria José Lopes. A mix of textures, colors and shapes, present in the furniture, walls and ceiling, bring lightness to the space. The striped wallpaper is in harmony with the glass roof, which allows you to see the garden as a whole. The individual armchairs bring modernity to the space.

Loft Cinquentinha - Anik Mourão. The circular project, with an integrated kitchen, bathroom and studio, also has a Zen area in the center. Inspired by a 30-year-old woman who is financially and emotionally independent, the place is full of emotional memories. Tiles and metal mesh are prominent in the design. The living room has hand-made textures and terrazzo flooring with a destroyed touch.

Girls' Suite - Luara Clarlini and Pedro Paulo Rolim. Inspired by the Montessori method, the room pays homage to Isabela and Roberta, daughters of Mayor Roberto Cláudio. Learning and fun are the main goals of the room and are expressed through geometric design, skylights that simulate daylight, clouds that complement niches and the wooden structure that imitates a tree.

Collector's Office - Diego Studart. The space is a tribute to Silvio Frota. As such, the photographs from his personal collection are the highlight. The clean space features refined materials, such as stone, a unique floor and lamps that provide indirect lighting. The room serves as a retreat for the honoree, with a large green sofa and a work desk.

Jardim das Águas - Thiago Borges. The water mirrors – divided into three levels and created by Burle Marx – are the starting point of the garden. Visitors cross a bridge over the water as soon as they leave the ticket office and come across unique vegetation. Palm trees form a backdrop and the movement is provided by the waterfalls. Furniture has been arranged to provide visitors with a moment of contemplation of nature.

Rooftop Canuto 1000 - Rosalinda Pinheiro. The space, dedicated to leisure, is a replica of Canuto 1000. The gourmet space with terrace has the style of London pubs, but adapts it to the global rooftop trend. Neutral colors are highlighted in the exaltation of the contemporary, which is explored in the coverings. The sculpture by Sérvulo Esmeraldo is one of the highlights.

Garden with Pool - Arthur Bonavides, Bruno Frota and Carlos Zaranzza. With spirituality as its starting point, the space aims to provide an escape from the stress and hustle and bustle of everyday life. To achieve this escape, the trio of professionals explores the vegetation and creates a space dedicated to meditation and the search for inner peace. One of the highlights is the use of elements that succinctly reference the four elements - water, fire, earth and air. Another unique feature is the hut, made in a conceptual way with materials such as bamboo, located amidst the nature of a green garden and intended to provide comfort, convenience and well-being.

Studio Lounge - Rachel Aguiar and Rayana Araújo. The professionals applied a cool and sophisticated concept, marked by coziness, to the 110 m² space. The house's original pillars and structures – such as the ceiling height and bold architecture – were maintained and highlighted by direct lighting. The design, through furniture, textures, exclusive fabrics, wood, lighting and technology, explores contemporaneity. A painting by Fernanda Naman is embraced by the curved sofa.

Volumetry and application of regional materials, created by the artisans themselves, take the crafts to another level, adding even more value to them.

Bathroom of the Deca Couple - Marcelus T. Caracas. The bathtub with gold details, located in the central area of the room, offers a relaxing space marked by sophistication. The chandelier brings elegance alongside the porcelain tiles that imitate marble, in beige and dark brown tones. The use of green mixed with other colors creates a pleasant sensation and refers to nature. The wooden panel is used in abundance, bringing a natural material to the space.

Ceramics Workshop - Marcílio Sousa. Inspired by the essence of the Northeast and clay, both from popular culture, Marcílio designed a space with sustainable design. The cobogós, in raw color, cover the walls. The ceiling, painted green, is a reference to the carnauba palm, the tree of life. The orange tones recall the sunset. The colors and elements that make up the space serve as a backdrop for the artisans' pieces on display there.

Mota Machado Space 50 Years - Susana Clark Fiúza. The volumetry is worked in a special way in the project that pays homage to the construction company Mota Machado. The lake, which already existed, was the starting point. The fluidity of curves and the volumes characteristic of the construction company's projects are the focus of the minimalist space, which has few textures and differentiated finishes. The architecture is integrated with the landscaping of the environment.

Mota Machado Garden 50 Years - Thiago Borges. Strong elements of nature, such as sculptural plants, mirrors and waterfalls, are the focus of the garden. The infinite edges create a "black hole" sensation. The contemporary landscaping is expressed through organic forms, with adult Carnauba trees, Jasmine-manga and adult Jasmine. The African Seven-Cup Tree crosses the roof inside the space.

Deca Shelter - Raquel Chaib. The functional environment is marked by the four elements of nature and are associated with the materials used. They are represented by the coverings and materials applied in the project. The earth is imprinted on the concrete base, granite and quartzite flooring; fire is in the Deca ceramic finishes, handles and light fixtures; the water is covered in undulating wood, reminiscent of ocean waves, while the glass and mirrors represent the air, through visual transparency.

The wall can be painted by visitors, and the hollow made of solar panels, clay and straw is eye-catching. The entire electrical project will be powered by solar panels.

Cocoon - Ramiro Mendes. Located in the basement of the house that hosts the Ceará exhibition, the environment is marked by a lack of natural lighting. The name comes from the protective cover that silkworm larvae produce and is a synonym for shelter. Thus, the sanctuary space brings back childhood memories and memories of the interior designer's family. Divided into two levels, it separates the bedroom and closet from the rest of the shelter. The living room is integrated into the kitchen and has a large multifunctional table, which extends and also becomes a nightstand for the bedroom.

Gourmet Space - Marília Mendes. The art of welcoming is applied through urban, bold and spacious design. The ceiling, with a sumptuous wooden slat, guarantees an incredible visual effect. The comfort is due to the large green sofas. The multipurpose island is the highlight of the preparation area, with a communal wooden and cast iron table, designed by the designer.

Photographer's Gallery - Afonso Tomoda. Victor Eleutério's photographs shape Afonso Tomoda's unique and exclusive project. The retro and industrial elements are expressed through the 10 windows – which give the space a sense of spaciousness and lightness – as well as the use of wooden slats, natural stones and vegetation. The 25 m² entrance hall becomes an art gallery, with a metalon ceiling and gabion countertops with natural stone.

Lavabo Jardim - Gustavo Augusto and Laís Sampaio. Natural materials such as stone, natural straw and wood ensure a minimalist and cozy balance. The elements worked into the walls form the path for the visitor to enter the space, awakening memories of childhood and freedom. The vertical garden inside the house brings a sense of refuge and sensory, contrasting with the urban environment.

Austin Bar - Cauê Aguiar. Three levels and four areas mark the sustainable project. A reflecting pool divides the lower and middle levels. Here, tables and chairs provide relaxation for visitors. In the closed area, the counter and bar are arranged. The rooftop has stools and bistro tables, raising it even higher, making it ideal for observing and being observed. The floor is made of cobogós filled with cement.

Café Conceito - Claryanne Aguiar. The functional environment was designed for visitors to enjoy it while listening to good music and tasting different flavors. This is Art - Sergei de Castro. The professional is inspired by misunderstood geniuses and pays homage to them in this space. To personify, unify and represent them, the artist and designer chose Van Gogh. The room is a reproduction of the artist's 1889 painting. The other side of the room features a painting studio for a contemporary artist, with blank canvases. The space is dedicated to art.

Casa Viva Space - Alaélia Castro, Joel Filho and Karine Maia. Sustainability is the main focus of this functional and versatile store. Artists display their pieces in the 61 m² space, in a setting made of reforested pine wood. The central islands highlight the pieces, illuminated by the lamps designed by the trio of professionals responsible for the project. The concept of biophilia is explored through the materials used, such as concrete, wood and nude and light green colors.

Alice's World - Erica Dantas, Fernanda Levi and Juliana Rolim Dias. Inspired by Alice Macêdo, great-granddaughter of the former resident of the space Isa Macêdo, the space is divided into a bedroom, living room/reading room and bathroom. The creation of the project was based on Alice's activities: journalism, cinema and fine arts. Thus, a double projection was created to watch films in any space. For reading, a futon was placed in the window, which overlooks the garden. Integrated with nature, the rustic stone wall and the wooden trunk table highlight A Casa Viva.

Hallway with Staircase - Roberto Pamplona Jr. Straight lines guide the visitor's gaze throughout the entire space. The wood, used in a modern way, matches the greenery on the ceiling, the carpet and the plants distributed in rustic vases throughout the space. Randomly shaped mirrors bring organicity to the project, such as the images of frogs in the paintings.

CASACOR Ceará Lounge 20 Years - Ticiana Sanford. A "technological square" tells the story of the 20 years of the Ceará show, in an interactive way and exploring audiovisual resources. The connection between the home and the gourmet area is instigated in the intimate and pleasant environment, which allows visitors to take a break and rest. The lighting in the vases refers to the theme A Casa Viva.

Dining Room - Cibele Parreiras. A contemporary style with natural materials is Cibele's bet. The portal, with crackled stones and sconces, directs the visitor to the dining space. The brightness of the environment is due to the illuminated stone, bronze metals and glass. The floor, original to the house, is made of marble, and the ceiling follows the curvature of the building, composed of divided bands of wood, plants and translucent stone veneer panels.

Burle Marx Square - Antônio Carlos Campelo Costa, Joaquim Cartaxo Filho and Romeu Duarte Junior. A dry square with interlocking paving and a stage for musical performances was defined on the lowest level of the space. Original concrete pieces from the garden, such as benches, stools and supports, were reused to compose the furniture. Indirect lighting was the choice to highlight the internal edges of the planters, inspired by the lines of Burle Marx.

Ground Floor Lavatory - Anellise Bluhm, Carol Timbó and Mirna Albuquerque. The starting point for the professionals at Utte Arquitetura was the color pink, a trend in fashion and decoration, betting on the proposal of using low-cost materials and solutions. The floor, with geometric pagination and exploration of colors, brings an interesting visual effect, with smooth ceramic coating. On the walls, the handmade brick painted pink, gives charm and rusticity. A painting by the artist and illustrator Auxi is one of the highlights.

The Couple's Bedroom and Memories - Luce Galvão. Reflections on life and a journey back in time with a look at ourselves are the ideas explored in this space. The bedroom is divided into sections, which, despite being separate, communicate through tones and objects of a story to be told. The marble floor is highlighted by the pink rug with openwork details, created by the architect. Photos, books, design pieces and works of art tell the story of the couple in question.

Publisher's Studio - Fabiane Tavares. Created to pay homage to Márcia Travessoni's 17-year career, the atmosphere of coziness sets the tone for the space. Designed to receive guests, the ceiling has a three-dimensional texture, with direct lighting, providing well-being. The feminine touch is provided by the pink tones and paintings with images of women on the wall.

Fashion Influencer Studio - Valdo Figueiredo. Paulinha Sampaio was the digital influencer chosen to pay tribute to in the space. The concept of occupying empty spaces, maintaining their original characteristics and adding quality design, was applied in the space. The industrial chic style, with concrete and exposed electrical piping and wood contrast with the fine fabrics and elaborate furniture.

Young Entrepreneur's Studio - Lucila Mendonça. Entrepreneur Vinícius Machado was chosen to be honored in the loft, which is divided into a living room, bedroom and bathroom. Gray, wood and a mix of colors flow throughout the unit formed by the space without barriers, walls or dividers. The porcelain tiles, which imitate marble, catch the viewer's attention. The works of art are responsible for adding touches of color to the walls, with a modern and contemporary feel.

CASACOR Ceará celebrates its 20th anniversary in the 2018 edition! The event features 54 spaces that make up the iconic property and marked the history of the Ceará show ! Between September 13th and October 23rd , the public will be able to see the best of design, architecture, decoration and landscaping at the event! The exhibition will be held at Rua Visconde de Mauá, 950, in Aldeota, an upscale neighborhood in Fortaleza. The property has an area of 10,000 m² and includes a residence and a commercial building, both designed by Acácio Gil Borsoi. One of the highlights of the place is the original garden, designed by Roberto Burle Marx. Built in 1969 by the J. Macêdo group, the space also hosted CASACOR Ceará 2009 . Guided by the themeA Casa Viva , 73 professionals designed the 54 spaces that welcome the public. This year, the focus was on valuing the culture and art of Ceará, living, experiences and also the relationship between the environment, nature and people. The professionals focused on valuing natural materials such as wood, stone and concrete.
