João Almeida e Gustavo Almeida - Estúdio Capri por Macêdo Fortes. Projeto da CASACOR Piauí 2026. (Felipe Petrovsky/CASACOR)
The CASACOR Piauí 2026 edition presented projects marked by bold visual solutions, tactile materials, and strong attention to architectural details. In many projects, color, lighting, and furniture appeared as central elements, creating more expressive interiors and exteriors full of personality.
Among the highlights of the showcase, some choices appeared repeatedly across different projects, revealing interesting paths for contemporary decor. Below, we have gathered five trends from CASACOR Piauí 2026 that are already sparking inspiration for future projects.
Shades of purple appear in different projects at CASACOR Piauí, especially in deep versions, such as plum and wine. The color emerges both on walls and cabinetry as well as on fabrics, objects, and decorative details, creating sophisticated atmospheres without losing a sense of warmth.
Raphaella Sena Arquitetura - Suíte Essência Serena. (Felipe Petrovsky/CASACOR)
In the projects "Suíte Essência Serena" and "Restaurante Cinco Sentidos", purple no longer plays a merely punctual role and starts to structure the spaces in a broader way. When combined with wood, natural fabrics, and warm lighting, the result gains a more sensorial aesthetic, far from the idea of excessively cold colors.
Bee Arquitetura - Restaurante Cinco Sentidos. (Felipe Petrovsky/CASACOR)
The ceilings take on a leading role in several spaces of the showcase and emerge as an important part of the architectural composition. Instead of remaining neutral, many projects explore colored paint, wallpaper, wood, textures, and volumetric cutouts capable of completely transforming the perception of the projects.
Naira Nogueira e Thaís Gonçalves - Entre Infinitos. (Felipe Petrovsky/CASACOR)
This appreciation of the upper plane helps create more immersive spaces and adds new layers of visual interest. In "Entre Infinitos" and "Suíte Bontempo", the ceilings function almost as a fifth wall – reinforcing identity, depth, and aesthetic continuity in the projects!
Vangii Arquitetura - Suite Bontempo: Infinito Particular de Kalina. (Felipe Petrovsky/CASACOR)
Another important trend at CASACOR Piauí lies in tables with sculptural bases and unconventional designs. In many projects, they no longer function merely as utilitarian pieces and take on a role of visual prominence, almost like works of art integrated into the furniture.
Alexandra Martins e Anelise Carvalho - Casa Auí - SEBRAE. (Felipe Petrovsky/CASACOR)
Natural stone, solid wood, metal and organic shapes appeared in compositions that explore asymmetrical volumes and freer geometries. In the spaces "Casa Auí" and "Sala de Jantar Caminhos", for example, the bases take on such prominence that the top almost seems secondary to the sculptural strength of the structures.
Bruno Veloso + Mateus Almondes - Sala de Jantar Caminhos. (Felipe Petrovsky/CASACOR)
At CASACOR Piauí 2026, some projects explore a more integrated relationship between landscaping and artistic expression. Sculptures, installations and signature pieces appeared inserted among the gardens in an organic way, creating compositions that make art and nature seem part of the same landscape.
Marina Campanhã Paisagismo - Pátio Formosa. (Felipe Petrovsky/CASACOR)
In "Pátio Formosa" and "entreTempos", works were attached to tree trunks or positioned between flowerbeds and green paths, creating points of surprise along the circulation. This blend helped transform the gardens into more sensorial spaces and contemplative ones.
Ana Márcia Moura e Geraldo Lustosa - Arquitetura e Interiores + Josélia Carvalho Paisagismo - entreTempos. (Felipe Petrovsky/CASACOR)
Stripes appear reinterpreted in more contemporary proposals, far from the overly classic aesthetic associated with this pattern. They emerge on walls, floors and curtains, adding visual rhythm and a sense of movement to the projects.
Mariana Segnini e Isadora Segnini - Bilheteria Mente e Coração. (Felipe Petrovsky/CASACOR)
In the projects "Bilheteria Mente e Coração" and "Primeiros Sonhos", the stripes explored contrast and organicity, respectively. The result brought dynamism, modernity and personality to the spaces.
