Invest in scenic lighting solutions

A soft light defines circulation areas and also warms the projects, evoking the intimate atmosphere of the best movie theaters. Use designer lamps to give personality to the space and insert minimalist lamps to compose a sober and sophisticated scenario, inspired by the trends revealed by projects of the exhibition. The lighting not only provides visual comfort during the sessions but also expands the decorative possibilities, enhancing the textures, volumes, and colors present in the décor.

Choose cozy armchairs and sofas

The comfort should be a priority when choosing the seats for the home theater. Bet on modular sofas, which adapt to the projects, or reclining armchairs, with foot and arm support. Fabrics like velvet and chenille appear strongly in the scenic projects and provide a soft touch combined with elegance.

Dare to compose using poufs, blankets, and pillows to deliver a cozy and modern look, favoring long movie marathons. Mix contemporary design pieces and others with retro lines, creating an interesting and sophisticated contrast. To further enhance the experience, position the seats to ensure total visibility of the screen, respecting ergonomic comfort, all inspired by the layout seen in iconic projects of the exhibition.

Design walls with smart acoustics

One of the biggest advantages of setting up a home theater is the concern with acoustic insulation. Coatings like fabric or slatted wood panels, in addition to providing aesthetic appeal, help absorb sounds, reducing echoes and external noise. Apply decorative acoustic coverings on the main wall and bet on dense curtains to reinforce sound blocking next to the windows.
Home Theater - Architect Katya Ocampos complemented the home theater with other leisure options, such as a pool table, wine cellar, beer cooler, and minibar. The accommodations are varied to keep everyone comfortable, in reclining and automated sofas, chaise lounges, and poufs. But the novelty is the solutions to make the cinema invisible, with only the screen showing. Speakers, receivers, or the projector are hidden and it is possible to control everything with a smartphone or tablet, even modifying the lighting projects.

Fluffy carpets and shelves full of books and objects contribute to dampen reverberations, complementing the décor and providing a more immersive projects. This attention to acoustics results in relaxing and intimate leisure moments, characteristics sought in residential projects dedicated to entertainment that stand out in the trends of the exhibition.

Technology is a key piece in creating an authentic home theater. Invest in large screens, strategically positioned on the wall to ensure excellent visibility. Establish niches or panels to organize electronics and controls, achieving an elegant, harmonious, and relaxed effect, in addition to keeping the projects free from visual excesses and visible wires.

Personalize with authorial and thematic elements

The home theater comes to life by incorporating elements that reflect your personal tastes. Explore frames with posters of classic movies, minimalist sculptures, geometric carpets, and objects that refer to cinematic art. Use wallpaper or half-wall painting to create a visual highlight in the screen area, without forgetting shelves for collections of DVDs or books about cinema.
