Carico Architect Retrospective - Júlia Gontijo Dumont and Tina Barbosa. In honor of the 40 years of professional life of Carlos Alexandre Dumont, better known as Carico, the space recreates the professional's office. The duo reissued furniture designed by him and brought pieces from other participations of the architect in CASACOR Minas. The white marble floor contrasts with gold leaf panels and a six-meter-long doormat designed by the architect.

[galeria-april id="65992" type="slider" showtitle="false" data-restrict="false"] Another edition to make history. The 24th edition of CASACOR Minas Gerais occupies for the second time the mansion that is part of the collection of the extinct Federal Railway Network, which remained closed for more than 10 years. It was only reopened for the last edition of the show and gains new life in 2018 with the themeA Casa Viva . CASACOR Minas Gerais also occupies a stand at Pátio Savassi, increasing the visibility and importance of the event. In this edition, the concept of multifunctional spaces, always full of life, gains strength. Home theaters that double as living rooms, home offices with a place to relax and entertain, lofts that adapt to different moments and other ideas are in tune with freedom and the current way of living. Proximity to nature is also valued, whether in the presence of plants or in the large windows that bring in natural light – a generous bonus for the visitor, always offering beautiful views to those who pass by CASACOR . Among the trends, keep the color palettes with sweet tones of pink, green and blue. Simplicity and handmade products reinforce the desire for more affectionate spaces, breaking with formality. Gray remains the new neutral, especially in environments that explore the industrial style. Peeled walls, doors, windows, arches and restored floors coexist with contemporary pieces – especially Brazilian and Italian. Also keep an eye out for overlapping rugs that warm up the environments even more, among other new features that you can discover in the image gallery. CASACOR SERVICE Minas Gerais 2018 WHEN?
