Entering the third week of the
CASACOR Window Challenge , the challengers this time are
Marcelo Diniz and
Mateus Finzetto , who faced the mission of creating a container project in just four days. Before them,
Helô Marques and the
Intown Arquitetura office signed the first two projects who took over the D&D Shopping Mall, in São Paulo.
Thus, they created the
Ceramicist's Bath Room , a perfect environment for those who discovered an affinity for crafts during the period of isolation. Working with ceramics here goes beyond a hobby, it is also a subterfuge to express emotions.
Everything happens in an unlikely space: the bathroom. “Our project has the function of a traditional bathroom and a ceramics studio. There is the lathe and a shelf where the pieces dry. It is a space that can even be used for entertaining,” he explains. Marcelo.
Ceramic artist
Rosa Pinczowski , from Estúdio RosaPinc, is the inspiration for the project and she also created the equipment on display. Porcelain tiles of various sizes bring the sophistication of marble to the space and the black crockery developed by
Jader Almeida adds an organic touch.
The
Challenge is one of the new features of
Janelas CASACOR and works as follows: at the entrance to Shopping D&D, in São Paulo, two containers will be occupied alternately by different architects. The challenge for the professional is to be able to install their environment in just four days and, after the week of exhibition, dismantle it in just two days.

In addition to the reduced time, there is one more detail: the new space must use a piece (furniture, lamp, decorative object) used in the previous space.
