CASA COR Paraná opened its doors on June 21st and presented visitors with a variety of trends and ideas for a good, innovative and elegant way of living. The professionals present a variety of styles in their spaces, and one of the most striking is the industrial style, translated into four environments inspired by New York lofts and warehouses from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
The
Pet In Container space was designed by architects Josélia Pereira and Maurete Schumacher and created especially for animal lovers. This unique space has the distinction of being built using containers supplied and customized by Total Storage, thus gaining the appearance of industrial architecture. The entire structure was designed by the architects to offer comfort for cats and dogs, as well as convenience for their owners. The spaces for a store, veterinary office, concept store and even a bistro were incorporated to provide moments of care and family leisure.
The
Café , which is the meeting point for the exhibition, is located where the presses of the old newspaper “O Estado do Paraná” used to be, a fact that inspired architect Vivane Tabalipa to work with the industrial style. To establish the rustic aspect, the professional chose to maintain the exposed structure of the roof and the concrete floor of the property. “It is possible to maintain several elements, as was done in the lofts of downtown New York 50 years ago, and create a comfortable and welcoming space”, explains the professional. Worth mentioning are the rustic style pendants that were designed especially for Tabalipa’s space.
The simplicity and honesty in the choice of materials in the
Functional Lavatory , designed by architects Bárbara Penha and Pauline Moraes, is what shapes the space, which has an industrial atmosphere. Designed to be functional and irreverent, the lavatory features rougher finishes that, when used correctly, provide beauty alongside the composition of rustic and vintage style objects. The highlight of the space is the functionality proposed by the bathroom cubicles, which were custom designed by designer Frederico Zettel. To escape the traditional concept of lavatories, the professional reproduced the imitation of container walls and doors. In this way, functionality remained a priority without neglecting the characteristics of the urban style.
