Carla Cruz and Phil Pinheiro - Sala Studio. An environment designed to celebrate and showcase the firm's signature pieces, which reflect the essence of everything they create. Each creation is a tribute to the architects' roots in the interior of Minas Gerais, where they grew up. With attention to detail and design, the pieces tell a unique story, now shared with the public.

Rounded corners (or rounded corners) in environments, whether on the walls or ceiling, have gained prominence in interior design trends, creating soft lines that surround the decoration. However, applying these curves in architecture can represent a challenge for professionals, especially when fitting furniture and appliances, which have traditionally been designed for spaces with right angles.
This difficulty has been overcome with the increase in the production of furniture with organic shapes that adapt well to these environments. This flexibility has opened up new possibilities for designers, who can now create even more unique and personalized environments like the examples below presented in this year's CASACOR editions.
Ogata Architecture - Aroma Store
01/16 -

Fernanda and Flávia Ogata are the designers of the Cravo e Canela Aroma Store. The 17 m² space highlights the ancestry, which is very evident in the appreciation of nature and the use of materials such as natural wood and ceramics - the materials used in the lamps designed by Fernanda Ogata. Through a combination of Asian concepts, natural materials and contemporary design, the project offers a unique and memorable experience. All of the designers' choices result in a space that evokes serenity and balance, pillars of Eastern philosophy, and demonstrates that minimalism does not have to be cold or impersonal.

Marcelo Alvarenga, Juliana Figueiró - Suite of Love. Is it possible for architecture to stimulate and provoke relationships? With sensuality and suggestive touches, this project by Play Arquitetura e Design explores different possibilities to instigate romantic relationships. From the giant bed to the pieces that inspire fetishes, including the velvet texture and lights, everything evokes provocative art.

Marina Donato - Entrance Hall - Casing Cube
08/16 -

Marina Donato - Entrance hall - Cubo Invólucro. Marina Donato's hall welcomes visitors with elegance and warmth. The discreet lighting and wood, applied continuously, invite a moment of slowing down. To achieve these goals, the professional invests in simplicity and displays an original composition of materials, colors and textures, in addition to careful curation in the choice of furniture and decoration. "My concern was that visitors would feel embraced, and that they would take away a message from there." The word "Essence" is highlighted, establishing a connection with the theme "As a gift, the now", which leads the 2024 exhibition.

Rodolfo Fontana - Bar
12/16 -

Rodolfo Fontana - Bar. The proportions of this space resemble a train carriage; it is from this unusual shape that CASACOR Paraná’s “train rose” emerged. Inspired by the classic Orient Express, the space celebrates the travels of a collector and voyageur, who travels the world in search of the most exotic bottles. The space carries stories not only in the memorable labels, but also in art objects found in various corners of the planet. The bar stands out for its exquisite combination of different textures, which evoke experiences from different places, from the marble from a nearby quarry (in Cerro Azul) to the carpets imported from the other side of the world (handmade in India).
