Another popular style is the use of cornices, which offer a classic and sophisticated look, in addition to allowing the installation of indirect lighting. These structures create cozy projects through the play of shadows and light. The moldings, in turn, add a touch of tradition and can be combined in different themes, from modern minimalist to refined vintage.

Recessed lighting and its importance

Integrating recessed lighting into the gypsum of the living room not only enhances the decor, but also directly influences the atmosphere of the space. Indirect light, often hidden in the gypsum cornices, creates a warm and intimate projects, ideal for communal areas. The combination of direct and indirect light, strategically positioned, allows highlighting different points of the projects, such as artwork, furniture, and architectural features.

In living rooms, recessed lighting associated with gypsum can be used to delineate specific areas, such as reading nooks. By providing support for a versatile lighting system, gypsum allows for the installation of LED bulbs that are energy-efficient and have a long lifespan. Besides saving energy, they allow for intensity adjustments through dimming, offering solutions adaptable to any occasion, from entertainment to relaxation moments.

Meanwhile, vintage pieces can emphasize classic moldings, creating a harmonious and eclectic balance in the interior. Incorporating materials like wood and metal alongside gypsum can bring texture and modern contrast, allowing the moldings to stand out in a rustic and industrial way.
