The definition of the number of frames is one of the first factors to be considered. A single large frame usually conveys a sense of order and simplicity, making it a frequent choice in bedrooms with a contemporary or minimalist style. It creates a clear focus and avoids visual noise, especially in smaller projects.

On the other hand, compositions with two, three, or more frames allow for greater creative freedom and favor more personal projects. In this case, it is important to observe the proportion in relation to the bed: the total width of the composition should occupy between 60% and 80% of the width of the furniture. This relationship helps maintain visual harmony and prevents the frames from appearing misplaced or disproportionate in relation to the whole.
The correct height of the frames above the bed directly influences the reading of the space. In general, the base of the composition should be between 20 and 30 centimeters above the headboard, creating a clear visual connection between the bed and the elements on the wall. Landscapes, light abstractions, authorial photographs, and botanical illustrations are recurring choices for conveying serenity and timelessness. Still, the ideal theme is one that establishes a connection with those occupying the space. When aligned with the color palette and the bedroom style, even more expressive frames can work well, as long as they are part of a coherent proposal.
