When it comes to designing
bathrooms , creativity is a must for the professionals at
CASACOR : whether large or small, the bathroom area can take center stage with different coverings, mirrors, plants, colors and metals from
Deca .
In the projects below, the shower enclosure - and its surroundings - are inspired by exhibitions from all over Brazil. Mashrabiya
The
mashrabiya appears in the bathroom of
Casa Dendê Duratex , a project by
Nildo José for
CASACOR São Paulo 2019 , and filters the light, allowing natural ventilation of the space. The box that houses the space is white, as are all its internal elements: furniture, crockery and even metals - the white pieces were made especially for the professional by
Deca . The shower area is delimited by a glass wall.

Tactile floor and wall
Inspired by carbonized mineral coal, the wall and ceiling covering of the
DECA Essential Bathroom is tactile and complements the gray travertine marble floor and the Navy Blue countertop sink by
Deca . The bathroom area is divided into two glass panels and also has a bench by the window. The project, designed by
Juliana Pippi, is part of
CASACOR Santa Catarina 2018 .
Overlooking the garden

Several elements come together inside the bathroom box at
Casa do Bosque : the patterned ceiling, the overhead shower and the gold metals from
Deca , the view of the garden and the natural lighting. The project by
Olegario de Sá and
Gilberto Cioni is part of
CASACOR São Paulo 2017 .
Wood and mirrors
The suggestive name of
Influencer's Bathroom christens the space by
Isaac Amir and Mariana Castanheira for
CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2019. In just 4 m², the duo reused wood from old exhibits - which appear here inside the shower - and placed mirrors in various points of the space, such as on the floor and ceiling, creating visual shifts and referring to self-image. The combination of stone, wood and indirect lighting also creates depth effects.
In the bathroom created by
Triplex Arquitetura (Designer's Loft,
CASACOR São Paulo 2017 ), the wood that goes from floor to ceiling is also present in the bathtub and is responsible for the cozy atmosphere. The environment is complemented by black metals from
Deca .
With terrariums

Framed by a blue-green box, the bathroom at
Estúdio +55 , by
Triart Arquitetura for
CASACOR SÃO PAULO 2017 , draws attention to the set of terrariums that spice up the space. Another creative solution is the washbasin installed behind the headboard. All the metals are from
Deca .
Wood + metal plates
(Denilson Machado/CASACOR)
The ceiling and all the walls were covered with natural oak veneers. And it is precisely from this striking characteristic that the name of the project comes:
OAK , which in English means oak. The project by
Moacir Schmitt Jr. and Sálvio Moraes Jr. for
CASACOR São Paulo 2019 also reuses corrugated metal plates, giving an industrial feel to the bathroom area, which is divided into sections by the raised floor.
Between glass walls
The gabion wall divides the spaces and gives the setting an unusual permeability in the
Gabbro Loft , a space by
Guel Arquitetos for
CASACOR Brasília 2019. The shower here appears almost camouflaged between the bedroom and the bathroom, with glass walls and a ceiling shower.
Wood + lighting fixtures
The
Teenager's Bathroom , designed by
Izabel Maynart, Rosângela Oliveira and Valter Félix for
CASACOR Ribeirão Preto, is only 6 m² and reflects the search for something new, common in the transition between childhood and adolescence. The gray porcelain tiles, from the floor to the walls, provide a clean aesthetic in harmony with black metals and fixtures. Slatted wood was the choice for the shower area, which is complemented by two LED lights.
vertical garden

Two points draw attention to the bathroom area of the
Órbita Bathroom : the woodwork on the ceiling evokes a pirate ship and the vertical garden is reminiscent of a forest. All to illustrate the story of Peter Pan, according to the project's author
Ana Paula Borba . The mirror also alludes to the wings of the fairy Tinkerbell. The project is part of
CASACOR Santa Catarina 2019 .[newsletter]
