As June festivals hold a special place in Brazilian culture, bringing together traditions that span generations through music, dance, games, and typical cuisine. In its third edition, the festival takes place on June 6, 2026, and invites the public to take part in a program full of activities for all ages. From musical performances to children's games, the proposal seeks to value Brazilian popular manifestations within one of the country's most important museums.
The food court is also one of the highlights of Pina Junina. The space brings together projects that develop important social and cultural work in the city of São Paulo, offering typical foods and drinks from the June festivals.
Among the participants are the Pão do Povo da Rua project, linked to the Instituto de Pesquisa da Cozinha Brasileira, the Cozinha Ocupação 9 de Julho, from MSTC, and the Fitó restaurant, known for its appreciation of Northeastern cuisine.
The artistic program of Pina Junina highlights groups that work to value Brazilian popular culture through music and dance. One of the highlights is the Coletivo Forró do Bom, which promotes classes open to the public at Vale do Anhangabaú, encouraging people of different ages to occupy public space through forró. The proposal goes beyond fun, reinforcing forró's role as cultural heritage and a tool for collective coexistence.

Next, the Balé Popular Cordão da Terra presents the show Baile do Meio, which brings together rhythms such as forró, baião, samba de coco, ciranda, and baianás. The group, founded in 2012, develops research on Brazilian popular manifestations and invites the public to take part in an experience marked by movement, music, and collective celebration.
