The new MASP building is now
open to the public with five exhibitions.
"Isaac Julien: Lina Bo Bardi — a marvelous tangle" pays tribute to the architect through a video installation.
"Geometries" explores the relationship between art and mathematics, while
"Arts of Africa" highlights the cultural richness of the continent.
"Renoir" showcases 13 works by the French painter, some never seen before in Brazil.
"Histories of MASP" revisits the museum's trajectory.

Ney Matogrosso - MIS
The exhibition "Ney Matogrosso", which opens on February 21, presents a chronological journey through the artist's career, from his debut with the group "Secos & Molhados" to his album "Naked with my music". Divided into six areas, the show brings together costumes, props, documents, album covers, posters, and CDs, as well as excerpts from an interview with Ney and emblematic photographs from various phases, with works by Madalena Schwartz, Thereza Eugênia, Ary Brandi, and Daryan Dornelles. Flagship Store in São Paulo into a space of art and inspiration. After the debut with Yusk's exhibition, the brand now presents a new exhibition by the artist
Rafael Hayashi. Based in São Paulo, Hayashi explores identity, society and representation in his expressive paintings, manipulated with layers of paint and fabrics. Inspired by the oriental aesthetic and artists like Chiharu Shiota and Kazuo Shiraga, his work blends abstraction and figuration, reflecting racial tensions and the quest for authenticity.

Weaving the morning: modern life and nighttime experience in Brazil's art - Pinacoteca
At Pina Luz, this group exhibition explores the experience of night from different perspectives, addressing everything from the impacts of modernization to fantastic narratives. In "Weaving the morning", night is an artistic theme that reflects individual and collective experiences, such as dreams, leisure, and urban transformations, featuring never-before-seen works on display.

The exhibition
Japanese Principles: Design and Resources, at Japan House, highlights creative and sustainable solutions, valuing traditional materials and techniques from Japan. With 16 projects from 14 creators, the show presents initiatives that minimize waste in areas such as architecture, design, and crafts.

"Vectors-Streams: Female Photographers from Pará" - Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil
The exhibition "Vectors-Streams: Female Photographers from Pará" at the Centro Cultural do Banco do Brasil highlights the photographic production of women from the Brazilian Amazon, bringing together artists from two generations with more than 40 years of trajectory. With a decolonial curatorial approach, the show exhibits around 170 works, including photographs, artistic newspapers, videos, and audios, addressing themes such as gender and regionalism.
The sensory experience is enriched with emerging technologies, such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), in addition to an aromatic installation that transports visitors to the region of Nhamundá. The exhibition celebrates Amazonian photographic art, exploring its cultural and visual branches.

Zanele Muholi: Brave Beauty - Instituto Moreira Salles
The retrospective exhibition of Zanele Muholi, one of the most renowned photographers in the contemporary scene, presents the work of a visual activist who has documented the life of the black LGBTQIAPN+ community in South Africa and other parts of the world since the 2000s.
The show at the Instituto Moreira Salles features her main photographic series, highlighting "Faces and Phases" (a vast project depicting lesbian, bisexual, non-binary, and transmasculine individuals since 2006, with hundreds of images), "Somnyama Ngomyama" (self-portraits addressing issues such as racism, labor, Eurocentrism, and sexuality), "Brave Beauties" and never-before-seen works produced in Brazil.
