Visiting
CASACOR Rio with its
48 spaces that transform part of the Fashion Mall into a condominium is already a super-pleasant activity in itself.
But there is still much more to do in this 33rd edition of the Rio de Janeiro exhibition: restaurants,
wine bars , cafes, cocktail bars, shops, and a toy library. There are options for all types of activities, whether you are with family, friends or even alone.
On Saturday, it's a good idea to reserve a place at the
CASACOR Bistro and start your visit there, since the event opens at noon and the restaurant is one of the first rooms on the third floor, where the visit begins. Decorated by
Nando Grabowsky , the space has
a beautiful view of the greenery and an Italian-inspired menu , in the best osteria style, created by Cooking Buffet by Adriana Mattar and Ana Cecília Gros. Among the dishes, options include the mignon ragu risotto and the cod ravioli with basil sauce.
Right next door is
Chez L'Ami Martin , a classic restaurant at Fashion Mall, which, for this CASACOR Rio, gained renewed décor by
Lu Kreimer and exclusive dishes for visitors to the show.

Another lunch option is the
Wine Bar , on the first floor of the show. With a more intimate atmosphere, almost like a basement, the space decorated by partners
Pedro Coimbra and
Jackson Tinoco has a menu by chef Écio Cordeiro de Mello, from Kitchen and Co, with an executive menu with starter, main course and dessert.
Those who prefer to arrive a little later can also choose to do the entire visit and end the day in one of the restaurants, as
they all offer dinner and are open until 9 pm . Or, enjoy
happy hour at
Tanqueray Bossa Nova Bar .
This year's
speakeasy was created by architect
Tiago Freire and offers great drinks, snacks and Asian-inspired dishes. All of them are also created by Cooking Buffet.
For those who prefer light dishes and hot drinks, this year's CASACOR Rio has two cafés.
Café Cremme , decorated by partners
Maria Juliana Galvão and Alexia Carvalho , brings the bistro atmosphere to the third floor, with sandwiches, salads, quiches and tartare.
Sancafé , created by
Drica Ferraz and Gabriela Hue, is perfect for a tea or coffee break accompanied by a sweet treat or sandwich during your outing.
Other tours
For those who love shopping, there are some very interesting options. All of them are on the third floor, which this year is open to the public. This is where you'll find the
Jewelry Store , which
every two weeks brings jewelry from a different designer to the space decorated by
Rodrigo Coelho ; the
Gustavo Eyewear Optician's shop , by
Mariana Monnerat ; the
bookstore , by
Priscila Vivacqua , operated by Unisaber, with books on music, art, and national and foreign literature; and the
Home Store , by
Livia Quintella , which once again brings home decor products from Santa Cruz Home Bazaar, a huge hit with visitors.
And there's also something
new this year: the
Sea of Tomorrow playroom , by
Sophia Abraham . The playful and colorful space in
candy tones is a favorite among little ones, who even have activities just for them every Saturday and Sunday.
To participate, you need to sign up a little before the events right there at the playroom. And the guardians need to be present.
