One of the most renowned Brazilian authors, Machado de Assis , became the subject of an exclusive and free exhibition at Itaú Cultural , located in Bela Vista . Author of Dom Casmurro, Memórias Póstumas de Brás Cubas, Quincas Borbas and many other classics of national literature, Machado de Assis has his life and career told through vast documentation brought by the cultural space such as manuscripts, first publications of his books, photographs, letters and even items from the writer's personal library.
Named "Ocupação Machado de Assis", the exhibition will be open to visitors until February 4 , from Tuesday to Sunday , from 11 am to 8 pm, and on Sundays until 7 pm.
