With
cheerful decor and Brazilian food , Casa de Francisca is one of the best-known (and most beloved) restaurants in downtown São Paulo. Located inside the
Palacete Tereza Toledo , a historical and cultural heritage site, the establishment is expanding its activities and now offers a new
bar and movie theater .
Less than 200 meters from Sé station , the expansion is in line with the desire of traders, the City Hall and the population itself to
restore the center , giving more energy to nightlife.
The expansion of Casa de Francisca follows a series of actions by the City Hall to revitalize downtown São Paulo. Highlights include
moving the government headquarters from Morumbi to Campos Elíseos and the maintenance work to
revitalize the sidewalks in the area , replacing the Portuguese stone with concrete flooring, similar to that on Paulista Avenue.
The idea is that, with these improvements and the return of night-time commerce in the region, more people will feel safer walking the streets and willing to visit the leisure options available any day and at any time.
