With the Olympic Games approaching,
Paris is increasingly presenting new developments that promise to surprise tourists.
SO/ Paris , one of the city's most stylish hotels, has joined forces with the historic
French department store Samaritaine , in a partnership that combines the worlds of fashion and imagination.
Featuring the
avant-garde style of SO/ Paris and the newly renovated yet timeless elegance of Samaritaine, the collaboration kicks off in the hotel
lobby with a
“Fashion Gaming” installation on display through July.
The playful game takes guests and visitors back to their childhood memories of trying to beat the
stuffed animal machine , only in this case the prizes are items carefully selected by Samaritaine experts and include VIP shopping sessions, gift vouchers and even a round-trip ticket for two on La Compagnie, a French airline that only operates business class and is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The partnership continues with accommodations in three of SO/Paris’ most desirable room categories, which have been decorated by Samaritaine. In the “
Fashion Pack ” experience, for example, guests can live out the fantasy of having the virtual wardrobe of
Cher Horowitz , Alicia Silverstone’s character in the film
Clueless. For a limited time, guests will be able to benefit from the
expertise of a personal stylist through a digital and physical experience, which offers everything from a virtual catalogue with a variety of looks tailored to their personal style, to an in-person personalized
styling session in their private apartment at Samaritaine.
